Lunar Knights review - 8.4

This game is great! The anime cut scenes alone make it worth it. I also love the characters and the design.

Kojima and co are among the best in the biz!

Get it now if you can!!!

I'd say it should be a bit higher.. Maybe somewhere from 8.6 to 8.8, but 8.4 is still an excellent score. It's definitely one of the best DS games out there.

I think Portrait of Ruin deserved a higher score than Lunar Knights, though, personally.

I'd say yeah.. it's a great game, but where is it $35 for you? Only place here that sells it for that price is GameStop/EBgames. Elsewhere it's only $30 bucks.

At any rate, it's a good review.. for once, I agree with 90%+ of what GS has to say. The remainder is the graphics.. while they may be sprites, and not flashy 3D, they have solid animation, well detailed environments and nice special effects.

Not to mention, the anime cutscenes, which I feel fall under graphics, are a very nice touch.. as they add to keeping the action and storyline fresh.

And, they always have to mention DS and Wii games having "tacked on," "clumsy" or "needless" controls.. that's the only other thing I disagreed with. It's like a staple for GS to mention it.

Other than that, pretty spot on for GameSpot.
