It has to happen, it just has to! It can be a fighting game, or a first person game, what ever. it just has to happen. Lucasarts cannot ignore this opportunity.

And I demand that vroom vroom noises come out of the wiimote speaker every time I swing it!

A mini-game NOT set in the starwars universe? No, that's not enough.

Lucas Arts is pretty upset with nintendo since they were working on Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Video Game and they were even included in nintendo's presentation but were never told about the wii motion plus. I still say its highly possible but'll will probably take longer and will definately be based on how well the 2 star wars games on the wii sell

Kind wish Lucas Arts would just delay Clone Wars until they can add in M+ functionality. But that would be too much work for a Wii game.

It wouldnt add to the game unless the entire game was remade unless it was just a little so that when the motion plus is dected i'll use that to detect the differences in the motions better not 1:1 but like so it'll be more accurate that the wiimote alone

It's not a minigame!!! It's one of the first 1:1 wii motion control games.

I can see the fun in swinging about a lightsaber in a Wii game, but I don't see the fun lasting more than 10 minutes to be honest.

Well, if shooting a gun at stuff can last more than 10 miutes, then swinging a sword at stuff can too. You just need to have cool level design, story, enemies, and puzzles.

And of course vroom vroom noises comming from your wiimote.

Don't get me wrong, both concepts are very basic, but it's not the fact that you get to shoot things in FPS games that appeal most. It's the fast-paced competitiveness that most games in the genre offer. With a Wii-Lightsaber game, the main appeal appears to be the swinging of the lightsaber.

Don't get me wrong though, i'll hold judgement until we actually see such a game.
