Mac game engine now authorized for Wii

I hope more developers use this engine!

Its a new engine for Wii, which makes it easier to develop games for Wii.

It's the engine that they use to make games for Mac, but it is now available to use on Wii.

This would have been REAL handy for porting over S&M season 1. I hope they use it for season 2.

Anybody else want a Marathon retro collection now?

Miyamoto used a Mac to show off the latest builds of Super Mario Galaxy at press events, all he had to do was download from Nintendo, Japan. Publishers might not sell games on Mac, but they sure as heck make games on Mac.

Easy. It's an engine to build games for the Wii that runs on Mac OS. You buy the engine, you build the game with the engine running on your Mac, you test it with your Wii Developer's Kit, get Nintendo's approval, make a bunch of copies and sell the game.

I assume it's the first Wii engine software that runs on a Mac and that's what the big deal is about.
