madden 10 launch week discussion

well seeing that madden10 launches this friday i felt the need to create a thread to discuss it.

who all is getting it for the wii and what do you think about the new graphics?

The new graphic style looks very good. This looks better than anything else on the wii right now. can't wait to get into it!

Right now I don't plan on getting the Wii version but I think it's great that they finally built a Madden game from the ground up for the Wii. I'm going to keep my eye on it and may even give it a rent.

I like the graphic overhaul. Sure it doesn't compare to the realism of the other versions but it looks cool and appears that there are a lot of options for the gameplay to range from a completely realistic simulation to a more casual-friendly arcade style.

I just hope for more advanced players sake that there are plenty of franchise options.

Looks like a crappy Wii port. I don't like their new misshapen cartoon art style, the animations look horrible, and the technical graphics (especially in the stadiums) look last gen.

I like the look of the Wii version. I haven't bought a Madden since 06. If this one reviews well,I'll probably get it.

I'm a big fan of football(San Diego Chargers specifically) but I haven't bought a new Madden since 2005. The new art styl* is lame and there is no excuse for downloadable roster changes(except to deprive us of our money every year).

I am pretty much disgusted with the new graphics and overall direction that EA has taken the Wii version. I am far from a heter and a negative gamer, I approve of most decisions but this is one I am not. In devloping only the Wii version this way they have seperated it from the true hardcore feetball sim the series is supposed to be and made "Madden Jr" and It makes me want to vomit. As a hardcore gamer I have fith in the true to form other versions and shunning the existence of EA's Wii version. I believe that is the opposite of what they wanted to do.

For shame EA.

TBH i like the style, its more arcady than realism and for me I like games like NFL Street, the Art makes the game look a little more fun as well.

Im thinking of getting it, i hope the online play is decent however.
