I am new to these forums and have noticed that there is alot of contraversy in terms of what type of game Madworld is. There is clearly 2 sides to this topic: - Madworld has mini-games, so it must be a collection like mario party. - Madworld may have some mini-games, but it resembles nothing like a collection. Why must we argue about this, we will find out the truth when the game is finally released March 10th? So lets just wait until then to discuss what Madworld is or is not.
I think Jaysonguy has a good idea to what type of game MadWorld is. Like Mario Party is tied together by a board game, MadWorld is tied together by it's violence, or something like that.
Can't remember exactly what he said. But I guess we'll find out once MadWorld is released.
the game does have alot of mini games in it. so i do not understand why its a controversy?? Man dart is just one to be mentioned. but anyways welcome to the forums. (i still want this game though)
What people REALLY need to do is realize its a label. Its a label on the genre. In the end it doesn't matter what genre it is, as long as you enjoy the game, who cares what its labeled as. That whole argument about what genre it was, was pretty silly. Almost more silly than the whole 'casual' and 'hardcore' gamer argument. Its the same thing for music. I don't care if its labeled pop rock, rock, punk, prog metal, nu-metal, etc. I listen to whatever because I like it, I don't care what its called. People need to take a chill pill.
I read and watched alot of previews for this game - ign - gamespot - gametrailers - g4 They all come to a similar conclusion, that Madworld is a Beat'em Up I didn't see or read about any mini-games, so I don't know where this confusion started
