Made up Item: Glider. An upgraded version of the Deku Leaf.
Favorite Item: Deku leaf. It could've been used even better than it was. But the idea of gliding and some sort of flight in Zelda was awesome.

Favourite item:Summoning Flute from Oracle of ages and Oracle of seasons. (Summons either a dinosaur, a flying bear of a boxing kangaroo)
Invented Item:Confusion Arrow (Confuses enimies and they attack their own team.)
Made-up item: A bomb, that when it explodes, shoots knives in every direction.
Favorite item: red candle
MU- Goron's Fire- a magical gem that when used, destroys all enemies on screen (besides bosses) in a blast of fire
Fav- Hookshot
made-up item: Boots of Haste- will make link run a lot faster, while taking his magic (kinda like lens of truth)
fav item: The Ocarina
New: Soul seeds. A seed that plants to the enemy's soul and then temporary allows you to play as the enemy. Allowing you to attack enemies with an enemy rather than using Link, how ever a seed must be attached to Link so health lost as enemy will shorten Links health. Super Soul seeds are very rare and they have the same effect as Soul seeds, except with Super soul seeds health lost as enemy will not shorten Link's health. Also, Link can only use a seed if it's randomly raining.
Favorite: Bow with a quiver and arrows.

fav item: The Ocarina

I thought of Samus sprinting. The Boots of Haste would be awesome. Like the Bunny Hood on steroids.
Gravity Gem: Draws in nearby small enimies (Kinda got the ideafrom Ocarina of Time & Square Enix).
Favorite Toy: The Crossbow, it closely resembles a gun for that era.
made-up: i was about to say wings, the same as 'Icarus Wings' of Kratos from God of War... but realized the first post does exactly the same thing so.............Heavenly Scroll? i'm not sure if the name's a good idea: a scroll.. or just paper to make it not sound so Japanese and "ninja-ish"... that can summon animals temporarily to aid Link. for example, you can summon an eagle that can help Link reach high places, specially when there's nothing you can hook at... or a tiger or a lion to help in battle... or a dolphin for faster underwater transport.. or a jellyfish, which can be like a homing "Shock Trap" (paralyzes enemies).... you can find scattered scrolls all over Hyrule that have instructions on how to draw the symbols for each animal.... i got the idea from Okami and Sai (from Naruto)....
(but honestly, wings can look soooo much better on Link)
fave: BOW... with arrows on a quiver...

Nothin new called the Pegasus Boots from ALTtP and some of the older games
Made up: Whip.
Favorite:Sword, there would be no Zelda without it.

The new Zelda Spirit Tracks has a whip if i'm not mistaken.
At bob_newman: The jump button... I guess the question is, what happens to all the puzzle elements that are created because of the lack of a jump button?

Get rid of them. Put new puzzles in. Not that hard to figure out.
Not being able to jump is horribly archaic and they need to address that.

or... just bring back roc's feather? I was thinking about a jump button too, and i think that that would greatly compromise the entire game... when the ability to jump is new, it is going to want to be used everywhere, and we dont want a LoZ platformer... that wouldnt be fun.[QUOTE="bob_newman"][QUOTE="sonic_spark"]

Well the way it is isn't fun anymore. There's a rock in your way and you have to go around it? You can't hop a fence? Those are serious flaws to me. It just makes the game incredibly linear, with obvious invisible walls everywhere. You can't take any shortcuts. Until Nintendo does something about this (the Roc's feather would help...Link's Awakening was my favorite Zelda game), the series is stuck in the past to me.[QUOTE="garrett_duffman"][QUOTE="bob_newman"]or... just bring back roc's feather? I know this is completely off topic and i apologize, but does anyone feel that the series could use a new era. I dont mean a new time setting i mean a new era, something like a steam punk era, introduce the concept of machines alongside the classic zelda mythology, you can keep the same characters but give them a different look.Link can still wear green but dont make it the same exact tunic like every single zelda game before it, maybe he could even loose the hat. Then i think what someone said earlier about a musket or a similar kind of gun may not seem so out of place, dont know maybe its just its just me but i think something like a half man half machine ganondorf would be really cool to see.
Made up item : Special designed metal Gauntlet that cover links entire arm to be used like a shield along with the sword but can also be used for offense punching attacks, a second gauntlet one can also be worn which removes the ability to use a sword
Favourite item : Master Sword
NO! That would KILL it. This is Legend of Zelda not Final Fantasy.I know this is completely off topic and i apologize, but does anyone feel that the series could use a new era. Meh Zelda's not a platformer so what would jumping really accomplish, all the platformer that is in Zelda the auto jumping covers fine and the rest is dependent on items, a jump button is a waste. And you people do realize that most of the stuff you said in here is basically just asthetically different from the items that are already in the game. for example bomb launcher, bomb arrow, drill, bomb, whip, hookshot. Anyway my favorite item has always been the Bow and Arrow but I really loved what they did with the Iron Boots in Twilight Princess. I wouldn't mind seeing Link get a tool that lets him take to the sky's.[QUOTE="solid20"]NO! That would KILL it. Well, not everyone thought that Kingdom Hearts was a good idea at first, especially the Disney haters, but look where it's at now.
