Good idea and its yellow and red I believe1.) hide wii remotes.
alexh_99
2.) put on parental controls.
3.) Unplug one of the white, red or yellow cables. (not sure which one does the visuals).
my roomate steals my wii cables and stuff so he can play is there any way to make the screen look messed up when the wii its turned on without actually breaking anythingPwnMastr
If you're using an SDTV that has component inputs, then yes:
1. Buy the component cables and use them.
2. Before you turn off your Wii, change the screen settings to 480p in the Wii menu. That'll distort the picture, kind of like when you try to watch Cinemax on cable when you haven't paid for it. You know you've done it. :P
3. When you want to play, navigate your way through the distorted image back to the settings and change it to 480i. Or just use the composite cables when you want to play, and use the component cables when you don't.
There must be an easier way, though. Can't you just tell your roommate not to do.. whatever he's doing? I don't really understand why he steals the cables so that he can play. :?
I saw a You Tube video of a guy doing that to his little brother and their GameCube. He took it outside, threw it in the snow, then he punted it. Here it is- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hfmx4sZNhXU - How awful!buy a broken wii and when he is about to turn it on, steal it, take it outside, and smash it.
It'll be really funny...although it wont accomplish anything

If hes your room-mate, he can handle it.
