A Nintendo Power channel, so people with active subscriptions to the magazine can read a digital version on the Wii. Nintendo Power: It's not just for reading on the crapper anymore.
lol, music channel, you can already play music on the Wii...sort of. I wish the Wii could play music like the 360. Anyway, I think there needs to be a Demo Channel, a Trailer Channel (view movie and game trailers), and ACCURATE WEATHER channel...the weather channel on there now is so bad, its like 20 degrees off.
- Wii Music Channel : Plays all your mp3, and you can also download new mp3s and music videos, also you can get the latest music news via Yahoo! Music.
- A new layout, since I think the current one takes up too much room.
- Wii On-Demand : Works like the On-Demand channel on Digital Cable
- Nintendo Power: Nintendo finally makes a REAL Magazine
The "New Games" channel... for those of us who have a bitter taste in our mouths for paying $250 to play Punch Out and Donkey Kong Country when we've got NESes and SNESes in our garages.
I think a muisc channel would be killer. Also a Nintendo News channel would be dope to. But for demo's etc... would def need a mass storage option better then having a bunch of SD cards.I remember reading rumors of a Hard Drive attachment. The Wii has 2 usb port. Also for a WiiMessenger I would really want a keyboard, it takes to long to use the on screen one. -bunkdiggity-
How about a Friends Channel where you can who you ever played online, and you can send a friend request to them, and if they accept they'll be added to your friend list.
You can see if they they are online or not, if they are you can chat with then in the Pictochat Channel.
Well those are my dream channels, but I hope theres a firmware update that will make the Wii Shop channel load faster.
Designer Channel-lets you create platformer like levels that you can have other people with wii's play on. Kinda like the design a level mode from the ds castlevania games.....only better:P. Its sort of a stupid idea, but at least im not saying the same thing as everybody else:?
and whats the point of a WiiTV? honestly, i like the WiiTunes the best. hook up your ipod, buy music, movies, etc. and i guess its somewhat like a WiiTV, b/c you could subscribe to podcasts.
Well at first I was going to say a game review channel, but then there is the Opera browser for that, then I was going to say a demo channel but everyone wants that, so I got to thinking what would be truly interesting then it came to me how about a Doodle Channelit would be like a paint program with a lot of features and different brushes and filters (kinda like a Photoshop Wii version).
DVD Channel. Not necessary, but would be nice. MP3 Channel. I know it's been said a hundred times, but it should be a tad easier to get at your music. (for the record, you put some MP3s on an SD card, then go Photo Channel > either option > Slideshow, then hit A to bring up the option menu, then go to Music.) Wii-pedia Channel (powered by Wikipedia). An interesting fact a day, just for fun. I also typed this on my Wii. Edit: Oh yeah, A friend channel where you can organize and message your friend-coded... uh, friends would be nice.
I think it should have and AChievements Channel, similar to what the 360 has with the achievement points. Only instead of winning t-shirts, it should allow you to earn actual Wii Points to spend in the Virtual Console
Wii music and Wii tv. Wii tv would let you download your favorite shows. I know that wii music is coming though. for sure i am absolutly 98% sure wii music is coming.
I know these have been said millions of times, but I just want to throw it out myself... Music Channel, we can download songs with points or play music from an MP3 player connected to a USB port. Movie Channel, we can play our DVDs and download movies with points. Demo Channel, view trailers, play upcming game demos and all that, we all want it.
