i think it would be sweet if they would make a mario and sonic platformer where mario and friends work with sonic and friends to stop dr.eggman and bowser from kidnapping peach and trying to take over the world.lilmosbydude

The rest of the characters (both series) are trash//secondary/one-hit-wonders/etc.

Considering all the upcoming games, and the most recent games to come out in the past all suck, I think its safe to say the Sonic Franchise is dead, and has been dead for quite a while. Urouge

Here in the present Sonic is doing quite well on both Nintendo platforms (Wii and DS)

id like a mario & sonic platformer where they are rivals, not friends. but of course not foes, they would both fight for the same reason, like beating eggman/robotinik and bowser after they formed an alliance, like you said. but no peach kidnapping.

improper grammar and insults do much to counteract your intended message. I'm a Sonic fan as well but I'd rather just play the games and not try to defend the character on a message board.

Elaborate? Sonic and the Secret Rings was a great game, Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure are also great and show Sonic's far from dead. Sonic RPG looks quite promising and the same goes for Sonic Unleashed.

I fail to see the point you're trying to make. The only bad game (not counting spin-offs) is Sonic 06, and to a lesser extent, Sonic Heroes. Sonic 06 was just plain bad while Sonic Heroes had it's moments. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are both great games as well. Sonic and the Secret Rings was definately a step in the right direction. It had some level design flaws and some minor problems with the controls but it's still a great game with a wicked sense of speed.

So, once again, elaborate?

I'd rather have them not be on teams trying to take down a force, for at least the first part of the game. They should have the storyline perceived in two different peoples' views and let it go from there. Also, I think the Mushroom Kingdom and the... place where Sonic lives should be wiped out, too. It should have a dark setting to it, with most people gone, and only a few people left. Sort of like the way I Am Legend was, except not as serious. I just think the Earth should be torn up and we should visit Mario's past levels with Sonic and visit Sonic's past levels with Mario. But they have different enemies and it feels more deserted. Sort of like the way Kakari Village was in Twilight Princess.

After re-reading my post, I realize how awful that would be. I don't know what they could do, honestly.

I thought of a Mario & Sonic platformer also. Having Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, DK, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow whould be the best thing to have. Any other Sonic characters whould kill the game.sman3579
