Mario Galaxy Help - Luigi Stars

I've got all of the stars in the game besides 2 of luigi's and the stars which result from that.

My problem, is that Luigi never looks for them. He just permamently stays by the garage and says he's too tired to look for any stars. mother *!$%£!*

i've checked back on him constantly throughout getting stars, and he never moves. if you have any ideas i will be grateful for help.

Are you sure it's luigi stars, and not just green stars?

Edit: Stupid question... Since you have 118 you have already gone to trial galaxy... I supose you checked the toad for mail ... Soo.... Sorry, can't help.

I don't think this will help but, Luigi goes and searchs for 3 stars and after that just relaxes and lets you do the rest of the work.

The 3 stars Luigi looks for are at the:
Good Egg Galaxy
Battlerock Galaxy (Green Star)
and
Honeyhive Galaxy

Also note Galaxies with Green stars in them have 1 more star in the galaxy then they normally would for example:

Battlerock Galaxy has 7 (Including the green star) stars instead of 6 like most of the other 'non-one-star' galaxies.
The same applies to the Dusty Dune Galaxy.
The same also applies to the Buoy Base Galaxy, but that being a 1 star galaxy, itinstead has 2 (Including the green star)

Also, the Gateway Galaxy (The very first level) has a second star in it which is a *Bigger spoiler* Red star *end bigger spoiler* which you can access via the gate.

Also make sure to talk to the comet luma to make sure you haven't missed any comet stars.

and make sure you've been to all 41 galaxies, there's always the small chance you've missed an entire galaxy but I doubt that. :D

If none of that helps and/or you haven't actually gotten 3 stars from Luigi then it's a really, REALLY lame bug in the game I guess. :( If that's the case then i'd do what Eastwick_playa7 said and just turn it off and on until you get aletter from Luigi.

if luigi doesnt help anymore is because he doesnt need to look for more, just do the trial ones and the prank comets one, remember you can pay the luma to fast forward the prank comets

Are you talking about the green stars? If so, those are not Luigi specific stars, he is only responisble for one of them in the Battle Rock galaxy. The other two are found in other galaxies, none of which have anything to do with Luigi.

I remember that one of them is in the Buoy Base galaxy, in the Ktichen Dome. I don't like to give away explanations but I can tell you have to find a pipe.

I'm afraid I can't remember where the other one if found, but I'm sure if you google it it shouldn't be to much of a problem. That is, of course, if it really was the green stars that you were looking for.

If you don't want to google it just visit every galaxy's star select screen. If there are still stars to collect in it it will have a transparent star icon for you to select.

I think i have a similar problem and it seems like a glitch in the game. I have 72 stars and have beaten bowser. I have 2 of the green stars and the only one left to get is the one on battlerock galaxy.

I followed the guide and did the first battlerock mission where luigi will be locked in a dome underneath the first saucer near the end (under the star). I know he should be there as i have already got it on another save game. For some reason though he is not there. Instead he is standing in the garage complaining about how finding power stars is hard work.

Please could someone help me if they have had the same problem. Without this green star i'll never make it to the trials and therefore never get 120 stars.

I have the exact problem, same amount of stars, beat bowser. Never get a letter from Luigi...

Anyone have an idea what's wrong? Seems like a glitch in the game.
