I haven't heard anything official, so I decided to check out Camelot's web page. It's all Japanese, so I used Babelfish to translate and it characteristically did a terrible job. But there was a news item from September that seems to say that they were going to show a golf game at the Tokyo Game Show, but cancelled at the last minute.
Regardless, though, I think it's safe to say that Mario Golf is in the works and will be finished in the next year or two, followed by Mario Tennis. Those games were born for the Wii.

Sounds good to me. I'll love to play mario golf or tennis. Fingers crossed!
I can say with almost 100% certainty that there will be one eventually. That and Mario Baseball and Mario Tennis. I mean those games were pretty fun on the gamecube but on the Wii they would be amazing. Plus, I'm sure they would be huge sellers.  Nintendo would be crazy not to make them. The wii was designed for these sort of games.Niebz

They do play very well, but I will have to close this thread because this one is really old.
