I think Mario Kart is addictive and I enjoy it a LOT. I love Baby Daisy and Birdo. :D Tell me your favourite characters, if you like the game or not, and why, I'm curious to know what you think. :)

It used to be addictive until I couldn't raise my vs points above 8100 :P I'm good enough to get to that number, but ascending past it is hard. I played the heck out of it when I got it and when I magically unlocked Toadette I went to see the requirements for it and I saw that I had to play Time Trials on all 32 different courses (which I won't do) or win 1000 Wi-Fi matches (surprised the heck outta me). I'm pretty sure when I head back to campus it'll be THE game we play all the time just like we played MK64 on the Wii last year. Can't wait :D
I think it is addictive. I might play it even more than Brawl, and I still didn't get enough of it just yet. The controls are just so good (I use an NGC controller by the way), it's like the fluid controls of Double Dash meet the addictive and competitive gameplay of MKW. I think the item-overload can be an issue, but is wholly overrated. All in all, definitely my favourite game in the series so far.
My favourite character is Bowser, by the way, as I've always used Bowser in the Mario spin-off games.
i can only play one cup at a time. the items and tracks are just bad. the new tracks are not that great and even with old tracks they added things to slow you down.

Yeah, I used to love playing Mario Kart 64, back in the day. Probably because I was a lot younger, played with my friends, and didn't care about depth to a game. But this is likely my last Mario Kart purchase ever. Actually, because of this game, I've sworn off Mario spinoff games altogether.
I got sick of it for a long time, started playing online again last week and enjoying it all over again, you can jam dry bowser and baby bowser right up your *** though, I still can't get stars, i guess I stink but it's still lots of fun, I use diddy on the dolphin bike or koopa on the bubble bike. thanks for asking.
Mario Kart Wii is a pretty good game, I might call it addictive if I could just find it in stores. It certainly is an improvement over the N64 and GCN Mario Karts which were probably the two worst games in the series.
i love Mario Kart Wii beyond any other game on the console...its the most addictive, enjoyable, best controlling, hilarious and skill demanding mario kart to date in my books. worth buying the console for this game alone.
Have to say I love the game, favorite would be a toss up between Wario and Funky Kong. Don't know why, just love the fatties! I do love Funky's sayings.
Game is really good. if not for the blue shell (I get hit by 3 blue shell in one lap some times) and the fact that battle mode is completely ruined. 4 player free for all is what I wanted. Game would probably gotten AAA

The only thing is that it wasn't it addictive at all for me, reminded me to much of Double Dash, and by a few days it ment an hour of enjoyment before the supposed "coolness" of it wore off. It's still ok though I guess. :?
I think Mario Kart Wii is amazing because of the 12 player online goodness. If it were not for the 12 player online, it would, with complete honesty, be absolutely horrible.
So yeah, Mario Kart Wii is awesome (one of the best games on Wii) solely because of the online experience.
