You can't go wrong with Mario Kart or Mario Party, other than that you might want to try out a Castlevania game if that's your style. Custom Robo Arena is also a pretty fun game that will last you a good time. Any of those are pretty steller, and you can find Castlevania cheap on ebay...I got mine for under $10.

Both are excellent games. If I had to choose one, which remind you I own both, I would go with Mario kart first. Then down the road get Mario party. I still have a blast with mario kart exspecially on wifi.

all are good games except mortal kombat, sonic, and imo zelda phantom hourglass.

Mario Kart DS, for sure.

And I definitely agree with darkspineslayer...MegaMan ZX is awesome.
