Do you think the Wii Steering wheel that will come with Mario Kart will be required? The controller just plugs into the front of the wheel. Do you think you will be able to just hold the wiimote horizontally (ala Sonic) without the wheel and still play or were there buttons on the back of the wheel that you need to fire weapons and such? If you want to play multi player does that mean you need someone else with a wheel?

It's probably just a shell. I'm definitively going to be playing this with a steering wheel. Think about it, combining Excite Truck with Mario Kart DS and better graphics. It's a no-brainer.
