Mario Kart Wii-concerned but satisfied now

to be honest i was a bit worried that nintendo were going to drop the ball on this one because of bikes, graphics etc, and bumping the release date to April seemed like it was a rushed project but it actually is very good, Gameplay,Items,New features,(being realeased in UK before USA ;) ) so i saw ONM review and it is really better that expected, some people may say 'but the graphics are bad' well i say I'd rather play a superb game with crappy graphics than a crappy game with superb graphics

I think the graphics look nice...

I know right? I'm not worried about the game. And besides, channel fans, it has its own channel to keep up with mario kart tournaments and such aka, the mario kart channel

When something looks the way it's supposed to look, then it looks great in reference to the way that it was meant to look. However that does not necessarily mean that it looks so great to the consumers

Heres what they should have done. Use Wiimote & Nunchuck, Nunchuck analogue stick for steering. Wiimote can be used for cool stuff like aiming shells. Stop the gimmik controls, Nintendo!

I heard they took the snake or whatever out of the game(where you move the control stick left from right when drifting so you'll get an extra boost), and replace it with just holding down the "B" button longer.yeahyeahbigN

as for the graphic, it's mario kart! it's not suppose to blow your mind people, and being below double dash? i doubt that. yeahyeahbigN

While I'm ranting: Bikes, stupid. It's Mario Kart, not Mario Bike. Tricks, stupid. If you're going to put more strategy in it, at least make it something thats a challenge to do, so you get the reward for being good at the game. I guess its all because Nintendo want it to be easier for casual players, but if they keep up that idea then they should just have a 'Win' button on the Wii2.

MK is about the multiplayer, used to be just split screen, but with 16 player online and the likes,

going to be awesome!!! i wont stop playing it.

i think the game looks pretty good, it has a nice polish to it, not as nice as SMG, but at least it doesn't have slow downs which i would rather have, then a pretty game with slow down and frame rate issuesninjavelmor

Sorry but the game HAVE frame rate issues. Not only is ugly, feels rushed, and go below 30fps when playing in 3-4 players mode. I'm extremly disappointed because I CANT PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS AT HOME because the game go too damn slow.

call me crazy but some serious HD zelda photo realistic graphics would look awesome. especially fight scenes. maybe it is just me but seeing link with some scars and intense realistic batteling would be really sweet.

the game isnt out yet.

i got it and its gr8 single player is a tad easy but the online is gr8 my racing points thingy is 5510 (u start off with 5000 btw) and its not so laggy 2 gr8 tracks 2 but the graphics havnt gotten that much better than double dash but its still colourful and nice i reccomend gettin it, its better than brawl... well in online ways anyway.. alot better waz-za

and just how, where and when did you get this?
