But Sonic is definitely on the up-swing with games like Sonic Rush, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Rivals, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.
I've grown with Mario, i saw him in his first adventure in the Nes and i was like 4 years old, and Sonic i first saw him when i was like 10, so, no question for me MARIO is the best.
Well, I've been playing Sonic since the Genesis (it says so in my sig), but his 2-D games are crap. Mario has good 2-D games, but imo aren't as good as sonic's and his 3-d games are amazing. Tough choice...
Hmmm A serious question? Well obviously Mario is the more dominate right now and probably always will be. The last game I played with Sonic was "Sonic The Hedgehog" on my 360, and that game was so much crap. Now, I dunno how to put it in any other then the Sonic Franchise is dying. im not saying Sega is, but Sonic is. Without a doubt Sega is just running out of ideas for sonic, I mean sonic in Olympics? Im not saying its a bad game or idea, just the fact its Sonic, in an olympic game?whod ever thought. The Mario Franchise always seems to impress me, I have to admit I was a little worried of Mario loosing its touch, because Mario Sunshine was good and all, but it just didnt give you that "Mario" game feeling. I havent played SMG yet, but if gamespot gave it a 9.5? then forget it, its probably a godly game, and worth all the hype. Im sorry if im ditching sonic here, but its my honest opinion. (Then again I still hate the idea of sonic being in Brawl) Oh and lastly I found the 2d Mario games to be greater then sonics, dunno why, its just funner to me.

Probably because the only thing sonic had on mario was speed, but every time you went fast there was a dang bee at the end to make you lose all your rings. Really people, either make it so I can run fast or quit selling sonic as 'fast'. That's the problem with the 2D sonics, and probably why you like mario more. Mario wasn't advertised as something you rarely got to do. Lucky sonic only makes his appearances in mario games now anyhow... well that areworth playing.

how did they run out of ideas they have used the same one in the last 50 sonic games
