I bought WarioWare but that was before mario party came out but I really like WarioWare eventhough it only takes aboutan hour to beat.

Get MP8 if you want a good party game. you can play multiplayer with four people on MP8 as opposed to sharing one controller on WW. I have both and even though WW is wackier and has a higher score... MP8 will be better for get togethers.

i liked wario ware. the games are fun and easy but sometimes hard to figure out. unlike mario party, when you start ur not making like a 20 minute to hour long commitment to the game. its multiplayer games are also fun. its filled with lots of rare and odd japanese humor. the single player game is also fun if u have a bunch of ppl and u pass the remote around because the micro games are only seconds long. mario party, on the other hand, although it has cut down it's waiting time down severly since its debut, can get a little boring while watching other players decide what to do (board game style) dag, yo.

Mario Party = 80 mini games Warioware = 200 MIRCO GAMES and you can beat the game in about an hour as well, plus the games get old fast because their to basic. Unlike Mario Party 8 most of the games have more depth.

I prefer WarioWare becuase it's not like other games. As for Mario Party , it's almost like the other seven games but there are other things to do, and you can use your Mii characters aswell. Also, I think there should be more maps for MP8.

Warioware by far. It is fun to play, even if it doesn't have as many multipler modes. Mario Party 8 sucked IMO, it's just tedious to play.
