okay, i took the liberty of calling nintendo's hotline @ 1 800 255 3700
and after speaking with a rep from the wii dep. he told me that the game was once set for a release date of march 5th, 2007 but since 2 weeks/ 3 weeks ago it was changed to Q2 2007 meaning, according to him and two other rep. i called, Q2 means APRIL, MAY,JUNE (second quater of 2007) . therefore, officially....if anyone bothers going to nintendo.com...they will see that the release date is infact sometime in Q2.
i know how most ppl rely on ign, gamespot,eb games etc for release dates, but when nintendo does not release an official release date or delays one, these guys often tend to give into speculation and just give random release dates, like in this situation, future shop insists march 20th, ebgames says june 1st, ign says march 5th, walamrt claims april 12th. all this is speculation and as the nintendo reps have told me, the release date is CURRENTLY PENDING and the game is set to release as of now, sometime within the next 3 or 4 months.
so, i would recommend, in the future.....to always trust nintendo's official website..rather then some store employees or sites.
