Is anyone else getting tired of all of the Mario Party games Nintendo keeps on making? Mostly every single game is the exact samething, but with different mini games. What do you think?:question:
I can't say they're boring, because I haven't played all of them, but I agree that there are too many of them. Come on! "Mario Party 8"? That's a bit much don't you think?
I never played #8, but I can agree that the formula is wearing thin. It's not really the game's fault, though. I like Nintendo, but you'd have to blame them for releasing a Mario Party about every year since its release. It would be nicer if it was a bit like Mario Kart, where Nintendo would only make one version of it on a platform, then make another version of it for the next.

Ah, you beat me to it. Let it be, the same can be said for all the racing, football, soccer, etc. etc. games. They are all basically the same games, with updated names, graphics and what not. Let us people that enjoy the Mario Party games have fun with them. I know I like them and is the only game my girlfriend has been waiting for quite a while now.

I don't know. Nintendo Power the same Nintendo Power that is the most Nintendo fanboy magazine gave a 7.5/10 to the game. I think the game is on a downhill.

I have played most of the Mario Party games for the Gamecube. They are really boring but on the Wii it will probably be better because there is actually action from the movements of the remote and nungchuk.

What's with the NP hate? They're not THAT fanboyish and have good information. They only gave TP a 9.5, as opposed to what should have been a 10 from a Nintendo-biased magazine, and the recent Wario game (not Warioware... the Master of Disguise thing or something) a 6.5 of 7.5 and didn't have too much good to say about it.Â

Yes, it will be dull. Just like all the other Mario Party games.Â
Its not that there is too many, its that they hardly add anything new to them, except for the new mini-games. Like cmon, I wanna see a ton of boards, more characters, a better story mode, etc.
one and two were amazing, and the reviews so far show that mp8 is showing that mario party is good again. but yeah, there have been too many, byt hey, they sell
I played MP4 and I own MP5 for GC and I love playing the game with 4 people because the minigames get crazy and we put stuff in the line for whoever wins and it seems MP8 is going to be awesome for me because of the motion controls.Â
Most people who hate the series are loners... Seriously, if you have most the Mario Parties and always have someone to play with, saying you hate Mario Party is forbidden.
But its on the Wii now so you have to give it a chance. Are you tired of the new Tony Hawk that came out, cause that was the eigth one and i thought that game was great.
to me, if i want fun multi player action. i always prefer mariokart, shashbrothers, strikers, or toadstool tour. i'm sure i'm forgetting some. but i just don't like playing games like marioparty over and over again like i do the other games.

Its got the best reviews out of the whole series from Gamerankings. And an 8.3 from Gametrailers. So thats good.Â

that's after only two reviews. i do hope i'm wrong. if the game developers did their job. this game should be better then all the others. but it's still too early to tell.
ITS A COMPILATION OF MINI GAMES!!!!! of course its gonna lose its appeal after the 8th game in the series. but if the other games are any indication of this one i imagine it to be a fun party game.
