The main hurdle is that it was made by Square Enix (then Squaresoft), not by Nintendo. I'd imagine it'll come out sooner or later though.
Like all popular cIassic games, it'll eventually come. Especially considering it's Mario.I actually never played Mario RPG even being a huge SNES fan, so I really hope it comes soon.
It'll be out in 5 years at the pace its going. Honestly its only another like 3-4 years until the 6th Generation hits.
