Mario series VS. Legend of Zelda series (poll)

Which series do you prefer? The Legend of Zelda series or the Mario series. I prefer Legend of Zelda a little bit more.

i cant vote Mario has great gameplay but know storyline(worth mentioning)

Zelda is great with gameplay and story but something keeps my mind from saying its better

mario is fun and all but im growing up. im 25 now and im glad to see zelda got a little more mature looking. i think it would be neat to get a more mature looking mario game. yeah thats right.... i said it.... more mature darker looking mario. ive been with mario since day 1. its time for a change.flinknasty

I cant really see it possible to get a darker tale of a plummer saving a kingdom of mushrooms from thier Tyrant Turtle King of the coop Bowser with out them straying so far from the series

i like mario better because u know wat ur supposed 2 do and u know ur objective as in zelda u have to figure out tough puzzles that only hardcore gamers can play which in mario, both hardcore gamers and begiiners can play it.and great idea 4 a mature mario game.i would so play it

I have more fun playing zelda but they get boring once I beat the game , mario games I can keep playing over and over .

Both series are very important to him. As important as his eyes. You know: Zelda is the right one and Mario is the left one...or is it the other way around?

Mario... but Zelda is a very close 2nd.

i think if you only compare zelda games to mario platformers, its very close.

but mario has other franchises such as the rpg/paper mario, mario kart, etc etc. this diversity puts it ahead imo.

Mario has a lot more diversity and a broader appeal. Plus I've rarely ever replayed a Zelda game. I love them, but once the story is over I don't feel very motivated to pick it up anymore. Mario, on the other hand, has gotten MULTIPLE replays from me on almost all its games.

Plus Zelda needs to change up its formula a little. It's been talked to death, but seriously. New items aren't doing it anymore. There needs to be a serious shake-up to keep it innovative, which it sounds like there might be a change in the future.
