I got ultimate alliance for the Wii for Christmas and I have yet to open it (busy with other games and school), and I keep hearing its control scheme isn't that great for the Wii in addition to the graphics being inferior to ps3. So my question is this: should I trade-in this game to get it for the ps3 or not?  Fanboys need not respond!

You may want to read other reviews. The PS3 version is not good. Framerate issues and the graphics aren't any different from the wii version. Some reviewers called the PS3 version downright unplayable due to the lag on screen. Also you can use regular button controls or a gamecube controller on the wii version.

And here I come to the rescue.

I own the Wii version, my friend has the PS3 version.  The Wii, not as sharp in the graphical department, but thats not saying much considering the game is not very graphic heavy.

Secondly, I LOVE the motion controls.  There could have been more to it, but once you master the controls you can create great combos (I love when the guy goes "AMAZING").

The greatest thing is that if you don't want to use the motion controls, you can still access everything with the A and B button.  So you can play without having to use the motions, if you prefer it that way.

Lastly, the fact that I can tilt the nunchuk to rotate the camera is the greatest invention in marvel.

The PS3 offers less blurry character models, but there's framerate issues, and for whatever reason I don't know why.. but it happens.  The controls are the same as X-men Legends 1 & 2 for PS2, so if you liked those controls then the PS3 is a good choice.

But its all about the Wii version, you won't regret the purchase (and its even better with 4 players).. its hilarious watching me and my friends play whipping our arms around and yelling at each other.

PS3 easily. The motion controls don't add much to the wii version.

Maybe not entirely (I'm still a big fan) but the PS3 frame rate issues are insane.  Its almost unplayable in certain levels.
