I'm going to be 59. But I guess I'm not mature enough. I actually enjoyed Phantom Hourglass.
That being said: try some of the Sims Games: Castaway, Urbz
Or How about Hotel Dusk or Professor Layton or Lost in Blue 2?
I suggest trying either virtual reality or strategy games.
I have been thinking about buying a DS for quite some time now, but there doesnt seem to be any games for older people (meaning around 20). I like final fantasy but all the games on the ds are like FF with kids in them. Are there some more mture games out there?twilight_69
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. if you like it, its the best out there. you wont get any better castlevania anywhere in my opinion, except maybe sotn from ps1. every other castlevania's not as good as DoS
so ur 60 and play ds?I'm going to be 59. But I guess I'm not mature enough. I actually enjoyed Phantom Hourglass.

by mature I meant for older players, so I guess we can include more depth in the games, but also games that dont have such a kiddy feel to them, using adults inside the game instead of kids, less cartoony graphics. Also a decent level of difficulty wouldnt hurt.twilight_69
Well, there you go. Guys have posted a lot of good "mature" games. If you like strategy you should try Advance Wars on DS.

I agree. DoS is great and I like it even more than SotN. I bought SotN from PS3 store and it is worth every penny. I was getting further along, but started DoS and can't put it down. I will play PoR before OoE, but I heard it isn't that great.

Does Hotel Dusk have ALOT of reading? I heard here it does and I hate having to read a bunch of stuff--just let me play already!

no, hotel dusk has not a lot of reading. I will say the game IS ONLY about reading(and doing 2 or 3 puzzles),the main form to advance in the story is making interogations.

I have Advanced wars for GBA and it was a pretty good game, but have they changed much on the DS version because I pretty much beat the whole first one and if the second is exactly the same I wont waste any money on it?
Puzzle Quest isn't "cartoony" if that's what you dislike about some of the games. It's a pretty good game to with lots of replayability.
I think most popular games on the Nintendo DS are for young and old, despite their appearance. Lance_C
i agree, it doesnt matter how old you are or if there are kids in them- it's weather the game suits you- its like adults buying the "adult" cover of the harry potter books when everyone clearly knows it's aimed at children but enjoyed by all.
if you want adult games then brain age, maths training blah blah or Phoenix wright, hotel dusk,
me i like them and Zelda and other games with kids too.

(i'm 23 btw)

I would say no, you wont waste your money if you like this type of games. AW: DofR have a great storyline to.

That's a good one. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is a mature game, both gameplay and appearance. You have to like detective stories though.Have u played castlevania dawn of sorrow? One of the most fun games i've ever played and ppl 20+ will definately love it.
Also, both the brain age games are geared for all ages.
These are just to name a few.

the two advance wars for ds are very good although the first(dual strike) is never harder but has "time attack modes"(real time, turns and money limited) that are challenging ,and the game is a lot bigger than the gba games, 6 new types of troops, you get experience points with you generals and can have some abilities, you choose two generals that you can change after a turn and even make a dual strike(use the power of the two generals and get a extra turn),etc.
dark hour is something like a new beginning, in part he has lost a lot of elements but has changed even the mos basic troops, the generals now can turn into a troop that grants power to the troops around him,and a unit gets better (only during the battle)after defeating enemies.
the second one for gba was disappointing for me too,but I never regret getting the DS games
Touch of Death, Dementium the Ward, Resident Evil : Deadly Silence, Call of Duty 4, Enchanted and Crazy Pig are for mature audiences.DarkChrisss1995
lol in all your topic messages you always say something about Crazy Pig

I suppose those types of games could be fun in some freaky way, but the game creators would get their asses sued off by psycho overprotective mothers. But if they put sheep in Im a buyer :P
