Medal of Honor 2 Heroes- Weapons of choice?

well in my opinion playing with the allies is way more better then playing with the axis. the fact that you can pull the pins off the granades way faster than the axis side makes allies much more better. the weapons are awsome as-well. for example i never. i mean NEVER lost a game with the shotgun until today.(i had the game since release) if you want to face me just let me know. ill pick any weapon you want me to on the allies side.:P

Santana you can have the shotgun on either side...but I do agree about the grenades they seem to be better, like have a further instant kill range than the stick grenades of Axis. Saying that I much prefer the MP40 over the Thompson, but I don't mind the Thompson either you just have to get used to aiming higher and firing in short bursts rather than pumping the whole clip at someone and missing most of the time.bobbetybob

I as well prefer MP40 and play axis whenever I can but if you are stuck on the allies I would reccommend 2 things

1. Thompson/pistol combo. Thompson fires a lot faster than MP40 and its also a lot stronger. AIM! Don't scatter bullets all over the place do your best to aim well. When I use it I find I often hit most of the time but it just wasn't quite enough to make the kill. Swtich to pistol when you run out of ammo. If you hit even a little bit 1 pistol shot (especially head shots) should take them down.

In fact sometimes I do that with my MP40 but less now that I've found a reloading glitch :D (MP40 reloads slow, not anymore xD)

2. Bar. Its different and it definately takes getting used to if your an SMG guy. I found that I liked it (well didn't hate it) because once again if you AIM well it will take down a guy pretty fast (2 or 3 headshots) AND while it doesn't hold many bullets it fires slow so if you and someone with lets say an MP40 fire continuously he'll reload around twice before you have to. Plus it reloads pretty quick.

Ideally you kill a guy on the axis team and steal his gun. Thats what I do.

and I agree ally nades are much better than axis nades.

I usually play DM rangers 5th with mp40

sometimes if i'm feeling lazy i'll kill somebody with a rocket launcher and then take their weapon...

Allies: Springfield followed by BAR

Axis: Gewehr followed by STG44

I'm usually Axis.
