Ok, so I know i'm not the only one out there but I have yet to see a post or help page that actually pinpoints why some people have no problems with the multiplayer and some (me) cannot connect.

Senario: Wii works online no problems. I can connect to EA server go to lobby. Full signal on all servers. Try to join game, it loads and as soon as it tries to come up with the team/weapon choice the 'disconnected from server' message comes up.

I have connected to a server once out of about 30 tries and was disconnected after 10 mins and could not get back in.

I can host my own game without any problems.

I have 10mb consistent broadband with Be*

I am connecting wirelessly to Wii

I have a SpeedTouch Router - firewall turned off.

I have entered the ports etc specified in the manual by EA.

Any help would be appreciated!

C'mon EA get it sorted.

the best thing that can help you is the wii Lan adapter. get that and see if it works for you. but if your not going to get that then i don't know what to say.

when I first got it I DC'ed in the middle of games a lot but now it rarely happens.

I get the "instant DC" thing sometimes when I join a game and I usually try it one more time. If it doesn't work after that I just join a different game and that usually works fine. the only time I can't get on anything or I DC in the middle of a game now is if my whole house's wifi network goes out then my laptop has no internet either.

I dunno. I have/had the same problems but it doesn't happen often and when it does it usually goes away pretty much instantly

dude... i have the same problem... try it again, but this time, when the servers get disconnected, check any other thing wirelessly connected to the router... if im right, everything should lose connection for a while... if thats your issue, then your router is incompatable with EA's online games :(

I got the same problem...I am worse since I cant create my own game neither since I get Disconnected from Network message box.

I tried DMZ, Port Forwarding, Static IP, Disabling Firewall and in the past 2 days I changed my asus router to a Linksys and bought as well the Lan Adaptor from Nintendo but still same problem.... I never managed to get online into a game...I manage only to get past the lobby...

Internet is working fine on the wii...

I have as well an xbox 360 with XBL and never had similar problems...

Any suggestions ?

well, as i posted earlier, it IS the router, we had to buy a new one (the router we had was dying), and I can play online now with no issues, if you want to play the game, you need a new router...

I have the same problem
it's EA's problem now ours, they have massive problems with server incompatiblity, Battlefield is known for it
but they call it a "punkbuster error" it's not really

I had this problem for the past 9 months and have finally resolved it. Here's how:

Problem: Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii would disconnect from the network just as I was about to join a multiplayer game.

Router: D-Link DI-624

Logged into router by going to http://192.168.0.1/ in my web browser (from a computer connected to the router either wired or wireless, NOT the Wii)

The default username is admin and the password is blank (nothing).

Set the Preamble Type from Short Preamble to Long Preamble (go under top tab 'Advanced' and left button 'Performance')

Set UPNP Settings from Enabled to Disabled (go under top tab 'Tools' and left button 'Misc.')

After hitting Apply I also Clicked the Reboot button button under Tools -> Misc.

Also, Wii prefers the wireless network set to Channel 1 or 11 ('Home' -> 'Wireless' on my router).

I was having the same problem, my broadband provider is also Be* (albeit with a Thomson Router). Setting the following on the router seems to have resolved the issue... Toolbox >> Game & Application Sharing >> Create a new game or application - setup the TCP ports as suggested in the MOH2 manual (see existing games for reference) Toolbox >> Game & Application Sharing >> Assign a game or application to a local network device - assinged my game to the Wii's MAC address Toolbox >> Game & Application Sharing >> Universal Plug & Play >> Use UPnP - set this to 'No' Reboot the router. I already had the Wii setup to use a static IP address. Hope this helps.

EA have a policy that states they can stop the service in the future if they feel that too few people are playing online. This may have occured.
