Mega Man ZX or Castlevania:PoR ?

I'm currently looking for a good DS game to keep me busy until Pokemon D/P finally arrive here in Europe. As MM:ZX is released here this week, I am considering buying it given that I am an old Mega Man fan who has played MM2+3+X to death, but then again I also enjoyed DoS quite a bit. So, which one would you recommend to me more? MM:ZX or PoR?

anyways, i really like mega man zx. haven't played Por but my friend says Dos is better so if at all, get dawn of sorrow.

I thought Portrait of Ruin was slightly better than Dawn of Sorrow, but I enjoyed playing through all of the GBA/DS Castlevania titles. Mega Man ZX on the other hand, is very different from the original and X series from the NES/SNES days. This plays more like the Mega Man Zero serieson the GBA which I didn't like too much. I thought they were far too difficult to be fun. ZX is a bit easier and plays a lot like the DS/GBA Castlevania games with their free roaming levels that require you to search for new powers in order to advance to more areas and bosses. The standard Mega Man formula is there...beat a boss, get their powers, use their power to defeat the next boss, repeat till all are gone, go through a "final castle" and defeat all 8 bosses again, showdown with the final boss...

Overall...I would say grab them both, but if you can't afford that, just decide which series you want to advance with now and pick up the other later. But definately play through both titles.

megaman zx is a good megaman game. if you played the megaman zero series and liked it, you better grab this one. but if you liked the castlevania series go get a PoR. I think DoS is much better than PoR but it's still a good game.
