Metal Gear Solid question

why does the gamecube had a metal gear solid game if it is supposed to be a playstation exclusive and if there any possibilities to have one for the wii

The Gamecube game, Twin Snakes was a re-release of Metal Gear Solid on PS1. But I highly doubt that the Wii could cope with MGS2 or MGS3, which were on PS2.ash10692

Maybe they can do what they did for Resident Evil 4. Give exclusive content, and add motion controls for shooting and knife attacks.

Metal Gear isn't supposed to be exclusive on PS, Konami put Metal Gear on many platforms. But they feel like PlayStation has priority since it's the platform MGS was born on.Wintry_Flutist

On MSX, actually. But that was Metal Gear. Konami says Metal Gear Solid is better off on PlayStation.

well thanks for the information. well i have never play a metal gear solid game but i watch a metal gear solid 4 trailer and gameplay and it looks cool, do you think that if the wii fans made a petition , we could get at least the old metal gear games? 4 it's very difficult but i think it would be cooliKe_RedDevil

Kojima for the most part does what he wants. and i believe that he already stated that although snake is in smash he would be making a metal gear solid game for the wii

Are you forgetting the part where the GC was more powerful than the PS2? Don't you remember how the PS2 had dumbed down graphics of RE4? The only reason most people don't realize the GC was technically better is because there were simply more pretty games on the PS2 than the GC.
