It's definitely real.

i am disappointed that its mgs3 i know it was the tech demo that they did but to make it a game is meh i was hoping for the 8 bit metal gear games to be remade in 3d
It still says the Naked Sample, which was a tech demo.
Kojima says MGS on 3DS won't be a direct remake of 3, but in that universe and along those lines.
So do we have any real confirmation this isn't going to be a MGS card game and actually a third person stealth title?

Either keep up with the news, or don't post. That is the video that people saw at E3 2010. We never got to see it in full because Konami took it down everytime somebody tried to post off-camera footage.
As for your claim of it not being real-

Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is the game 3DS owners will be playing come release day.

I highly doubt it will be a launch game. It looks outstanding though and has the best graphics of any 3DS game shown so far
Looks great. MGS3 was my favorite of the series so can't wait to play it again. TheColbertSame here. It was the game that made me want a 3DS, not for the 3D, but for a better realized MGS3. The higher geometry, better textures, and addition of bumpmapping really makes it looks so much better than the PS2 original. This is probably what it would've looked like on the Xbox had it gotten a release on it. The areas in the game look very expanded upon too with twice the overall memory to work with. The PS2 only had 32 MB of main RAM + 4 MB of eDRAM. 3DS is rumored to have 64 MB main RAM (as much as the Xbox had total) and 4 MB of "VRAM" (probably eDRAM), and it certainly looks like it's taking advantage of the added memory. Gameplay wise I hope it's just like MGS3 Subsistence with the 3D camera (looks that way), while employing MGS4's expanded control set, but without feeling too shooter-ish. I wonder how touch controls will be added in. I don't see a need for them though. However it would be cool to do stuff like consume food and heal ailments with the touch screen in real time, as opposed to MGS3 doing it off screen. The challenge of healing and eating in combat would be a welcome addition. Also I hope to see online play. It would be cool to play via co-op in a side story a la Resistance 2 as well as against other people.
For comparisson's sake:
I think over all the 3DS one looks better then the PS2 one, and in some cases by a decent amount. That being said, it is obvious there are some issues with the 3DS version, but nothing too noticeable (as of yet).
^ use the same images with the same quality, not the jokeshots and pixelated low quality stuff if you wanna do a real comparison.BrunoBRS
...sorry I just took them off of IGN, and found shots I felt wrere similar. What is so bad about these? at least the top two are fine as far as I can tell.

well it's kinda hard to judge snake's face when there's a freaking flag painted over it :PIf you played your PS2 on a screen as small as a handheld's, it would look better. The pixelation would be less obvious and the differing levels of detail would become less obvious. It would be like playing the game on the PS2, but squinting your eyes ever so slightly. The only real differences between those images shown is that the PS2 version has blurred backgrounds, wheras the 3DS version doesn't, as its trying to create a sense of depth.
Saying that, the texture's on Snake have improved, but I wonder if that was for the sake of the tech demo, rather than the final product, as the tech demo followed Snake a lot more closely than the actual game does.
Youtube link. If you're cool like me and the video isn't working.
I would love to see this trailer in 3D.
[QUOTE="Jackopeng"]Wonder what changes will be made, i can see that the camoflague system wont be in this remake =[BrunoBRShow the hell do you know that when we have no info yet on how the game will play? O_o Well Big Boss's uniform has completely changed from the 3rd one, same goes for The Boss. So i'm just assuming xD
Gotta say I'm not grasping the logic there^. First, the camouflage system in MGS3 worked by Snake wearing a bunch of different outfits, so it doesn't matter what he has on in the trailer. Second, what Boss is wearing, certainly plays no part in any of that, she could have been anything from naked to wearing a clown suit and it would have no effect on the camouflage system. Sepewrathactually his suit stayed the same he just had different colours, also if the The boss has changed so im guessing other characters will look different, thats what i meant =\
