Metriod Side Scroller out aug 31??

Okay im just a lil confused on where the new metriod, Named Metriod: Other M is at in the story line.

From what i understand its just after Samus destroys MotherBrain but before the Prime series...

Please clarify.

The new controls are going to POWN... Ive seen 3rd person and ive seen 1rst person, but NEVER both at the same time... i hava feelin this is going kick some butt, preferably of Space Pirate Origen :D

The game takes place after metroid prime and super metroid and before metroid fusion

Im not entirely sure on the storyline of Super Metriod.. but i know the prime backround pretty good..

If something happened to the Leviathan after phaaze was destroyed where it, or someother leviathan, wasnt destroyed and missed in there scans.. could it have hit and created another Phaaze before GF went deep enough into space to destroy it??

If so.. could it have fired a Leviathan. And (remembering the BLUE and RED Phazon) could have it been hit by a large asteriod and split into several different fragments and/or colers... allowing for different life forms on each phazatheon.. er.. phazetriod.. what ever you want to call it??

AND if the planet contained metriod or Space Pirates or any OTHER hostile lifeforms.. could they have accedently followed the Leviathan and started mutating in the asteroids thin atmosphere and bean split up..

i know im being very WHAT IF here but hey.. its all up to ninte- well Retro Studios actually..

but i dont care.. if had the systems to play NES metriod and Fusion i sure would... or any other metriods for that matter...

You can play Metroid and Super Metroid on the Wii through the virtual console. You're out of luck on Fusion though.AlmightyDerek

BUT i like the fusion suit... it looks EPIC.. msg me your Wii code ill msg mine back and ill send you a picof samus with her helmet off from MP1

and (after i beat MP2 again with screanshot enabled) ill send one of her in her blue jumpsuit.. and after i beat MP3 again ill send some screenshots of THAT 2

No they are not THAT different, but the widescreen is nice and the controls really make the games 100000 times better IMO.

YESH widescreen kicks arse.. but still the new controls make it easier.. except for MP1 where i could shoot those birds in the sky.. its a little more difficult now.. of course.. it was ALWAYS a pain.. but it was al il easier to do it on the GC controller.. just cause of the screen edge thing..

We dont just want more. No, surely not just want. We NEED more..

I still say.. We should have a metriod AFTER supermetriod... or another game with Samus Aran as the main charecter. Either way.. 10 just isnt enough. Nintendo, if you're listen- er, reading, know this- PEOPLE LOVE METRIOD (PS ive gotten Metriod AND Super Metriod VIA virtual console)

And, being i primarily Controller-Loaded type control scheme, i realy got used to the ease of use of the old metriods and the Prime series. For me thats a HUGE part of a games review from me. If i cant pick up the controls and learn them in a matter of... oh, say, half an hour, id be utterly lost throught the game fiddling with the controls. Metriod: Other M is going to be an abnormal type of control, but, its going to make it thatmuch more entertaining.

If there becomes another metriod, i belive we should be alowed to unlock her older suits to use in-game, like fusion suit im MP1. I think we should be able to chose between

1 Fusion Suit

2 Phazon Suit (MP1)

3 Light Suit (MP2)

4 PED Suit (MP3)

those are (in my opinion) the most... unique suits. If you agree, or you have youre own opinions on what order to unlock them (i have them in order of play, Fusion is before MP1 Phazon Suit because you unlock it im MP1, it just felt right).

Ive been RAISED on 1st person shooters... but ive always liked 3rd person style shooters.. and with nintendo being able to combine both wellllllllll its gonna rule... and, should there be more??

BTW, the E3 demo was 20 minutes long and i got used to the controls pretty soon. it's not hard to learn at all.
