Metroid dated

For some reason I read this hoping that Super Metroid on the VC had received a definate release date. :cry:

It's nice to know MP3's date I guess, though I can't say that I like MP1, 2 or Hunters very much though. :(

Probably not. 

Man my 2nd most anticipated game releases one day before my most anticipated game.

My Most aticipated game is Bioshock and my 2nd most anticipated is Metroid Prime 3.

Couldn't agree more. I hope there wont be any multi-player. I hope they put all of their time and awesome skills towards the single-player mode, instead of wasting time on a multi-player mode, which probably is destined to be pretty bad.

Couldn't agree more. I hope there wont be any multi-player. I hope they put all of their time and awesome skills towards the single-player mode, instead of wasting time on a multi-player mode, which probably is destined to be pretty bad.

I disagree. I hope it turns out like Metroid Prime: Hunters: A great story single player and great multiplayer and online.

You thought the story in MPH was great? Wow.. MPH in the worst Metroid game ever made, in my opinion, and the worst part was probably the single-player and it's story. It's not a "bad game", but it's a lot different from other Metroid games, and I do not like it.

I agree, it is the worse, but it was still a great game and I think it deserved its 8.6 score on this site, but I gues it just shows you the quality that has come out of the Metrois series

They could shock us with a early summer release of Brawl or Galaxy, which is a highly unlikely fantasy. I'd imagine they'll have Prime for August, Brawl for Christmas, and Galaxy, sadly, for Easter '08 or something. I'd love it if either Brawl or Galaxy could come even BEFORE August (but after Pokemon if it was Brawl so it could have online), like early July or something, so that the other could take the Christmas spot and none get delayed to '08.

I don't see why they can't make a great single player story plus online as great as Hunters?

I don't think they have enough time to make a good multi-player mode. I'd rather have them working on the single-player some more than just throw in a half-assed multi-player mode in the last minute.

But the game was ready at launch and it was going to come out with the Wii but was delayed so what other reason would they delay other then the fact that there is a HUGE demand for an ONLINE SHOOTER for the Wii?

That the game was "nearly finished" doesn't mean that they can't add stuff. The controls needed lots of work since last E3, for example. I don't want another Red Steel.. You can always improve the games. Tweaking, adding, fixing.. stuff like that. Personally, I'd rather see a longer single-player mode instead of multi-player mode.
