Am I the only person who thinks that Metroid Fusion should get a remake? It was one of my fav Metroids for the GBA, and if it were to come back it would be great.

I would prefer a new game, and how much would the 3DS/DS make it much better if remade?

I would rather it be a new Metroid game since I've played the originals so many times. It would be the same old, but with a different coat of paint. Besides, that's one of my least favorite next to part 2 on the GB.

I don't really understand the constant obsession about remakes, why would you want to play the same old games over and over with only a bit better graphics for each iteration?

No thanks! I'll take a fresh game that utilizes the new features of a new console and actually brings something new to the table, how else would gaming evolve?

I didn't much care for Fusion. If Nintendo was to remake any game then I think Super Metroid is a good candidate. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a new Metroid title.

NO! Then it would make me not want to buy Fusion, which I need! Fusion Suit in Prime!

It wouldn't have to be put on the ds. It could be put on the wii. I put the thread on ds because fusion was a handheld.

Also remakes are good when they remake the game and add things from the current gen that weren't available during the gen it was made in.

I feel there are a few old gba games that should be brought back

If it was 3D like Prime, I would play it again. Not that I played it in the first place.:P It would be cool if there was another 3D one...

I'd rather see a new Metroid game one that takes place after Fusion

That's even worse

Why waste time and resources making games that everyone already played and everyone already knows what happens in them?

Its fun to go back and relieve moments, especially now. They could revamp the game and create a great experience. Not everyone has played those games. Maybe some gamers weren't into metroid for those 4 and played a recent one and now they are interested and would like to go through those moments? Maybe some gamers weren't alive for those games and so they wouldn't know anything about it.

Remakes are good I feel. I say this because only good classical games normally get remade. Then when they do get remade they are revamped and made better. You get the same experience but with some new extras. MGS for GC, I loved it. Yea I beat the crap out of it on ps1, didn't stop me from playing it again on GC and see all the new cut-scenes and added features.

I meant all in one game like Megaman Zero Collection or Metroid Trillogy, with improvements like they did on Zero Mission. Not everyone has played all games.

i know super metroid is metroid 3... wouldn't that make metroid prime the "metroid 4"? because i don't see it happening then. not that i see a remake of the first 3 in a collection pack either >.>

Metroid Fusion is Metroid 4.

Yeah I don't see that happening either but if they were going to remake metroid fusion, they better make something better than that.

Well if people really wanted to play Super Metroid, its not that hard to come by. I would rather a new Metroid over a remake.

I never got to play Fusion. It takes place after Other M right? I would like to see it on the 3DS eshop and after that a sequal to it. Unless Fusion is the closing of the series timeline(I want to play it so badly since I finished Other M).

When they announce a Metroid Fusion remake/sequel for the 3DS that'll be the day I buy one.
