I wanted to get one of these for myself, so that I could play it on my DS. But, They both have similar reviews on a lot of different sites, so I was wondering you guys had an opinion as to which is the better of the 2. Thanks.

p.s I don't really want a 3d metroid game so I didn't want MPH. so please don't tell me to get MPH instead.

I liked the atmosphere of Zero Mission, better. I hated the music and overall atmosphere of Fusion >.>

i played zero mission to the end.

i stopped fusion in the beginning...

zero mission is better, and shows you the first metroid, with extras

and when you start, go left and get the morph ball ;)

heres the two in a nutshell, get fusion if you want a more story driven action title and boss heavy game.

get zero mission if you want a more exploration and nonliniar game with maybe half the bosses.

that being said there both exelent choices, get both if you can

I have played Fusion and enjoyed it a lot but haven't played ZM yet. I am picking it up soon though and I've heard it is better, so I'd say go with ZM.

I enjoyed both a lot but for whatever reason, I preffered fusion. Why can't we get a new metroid game Nintendo?

Out of those two, personaly I would go with fusion 100%, metroid zero mission was alright, but it didn't feel as new as fusion, and fusion had a better story, and better bosses in my opionion(it has my 2nd favorite boss fight from a metroid game in it, my fist being mother brain from super metroid. With zero mission, i'm pretty sure you also unlock the first metroid from nes, but I couldn't stand that game anywho.

Anyways, in my personal opinion, fusion was better, but both are extreamly good.

I just wish they would leave 3D metroids to the consoles and 2D to the Handhelds.

As a huge Metroid fan, my vote goes to Zero Mission, hands down. It's more open and I like the level design better.

I like them both a lot. I played Zero Mission more though, and after a few playtroughs you realize how short it actually is. I beat it under 40 minutes, but it took me around three or four hours my first time. But then again, I beat Metroid Prime in under three hours and Fusion in under one hour. I love Metroid games.

I got fusion and hated it. I tried to like it but couldn't. I really just don't like metroid games in general, except for multiplayer.

I had both and I enjoyed zero mission more. The level design is better and it just feels different. I liked fusion story better but that one gravity boss annoyed the crap out of me and I thought zero mission was just more fun.

Zero Mission is really much more of a true "Metroid" game.Great gameplay, just a bit on the easy side.Fusion is a fine game, but the game isn't really "Metroid." The game is linear to the point of feeling constricting and suffocating. It's a bit more challenging, and it much more story-driven.Both games are pretty short.Depends on what you're looking for in a game.

Now it seems like Zero Mission is the "better" of the 2. If no one else has anything else to say , it looks like I might be goin with ZM.
