I really like that this game has such a focus in story. At the end of part 2 they refer to the game as a 'seamless' in how it blends story, animation and gameplay, if this is true I'll be a happy gamer come Aug 31st.
When we first got the announcement of metroid other m at e3 2009, it was specifically about the story- a flashback of Super Metroid and bits and pieces of the intro. They're really putting emphasis at the beginning of Samus actually talking for the first time. They're making Samus look imperfect based on her past, and thus adding to her character. They're really adding a personality and an actual character background to her as described in the game from what we know already just from Other M and not looking at the other Metroid titles, which there is a lot of story in between super metroid and metroid fusion of events to come. I am thoroughly convinced this Metroid may potentially be more story driven than any other Metroid game up to this point.
? its abt the only Nintendo game that has a story...& evolution with timeline...so I hope they do focus on the story..not like the crap that is Zelda. 1st, zelda isnt crap...IDK where that came from. But metriod does focus on story, and i everything points towards it being a great game.(metriod)
