I have recently purchased MetroidPrime 3: Corruption and Other M. I'm absolutely loving Corruption so far, phenomenal music and gameplay, superb controls.

Is there a way to play the first two games on the Wii? Maybe a download? I have not been able to locate the Trilogy anywhere personally.

Appreciate the help. ;)

You could either find the Prime Trilogy, or if your Wii is backwards compatible with the gamecube, you can find the gamecube versions of them and play with a gamecube controller

If you are able to find the trilogy, get that one for sure though.

Separately, only in Japan. Only in North America in the Trilogy package, which is becoming harder to find by the day.

Cool that you like it. I absolutely loved Prime 1 & 2 (the first is one of the best games ever made, and the second is an awesome sequel), and I didn't even finish the 3rd, since I thought they made it worse. You can't change beams (and they weren't as cool as before) making the game a lot less strategic, they made it easier, they removed the feeling of being alone, the environments weren't as interesting, just to name a few things I didn't like about it.

I agree that the 3rd Prime is by far the worst of the trilogy, and was watered down, but I found it to be a very good game. Its biggest enemies are its parents. Prime one is one of the most polished and ground breaking games that Nintendo has ever published and proved that Retro is the worlds best 2nd party developer.

Sounds good, I will try to find the trilogy online. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to play Game Cube and about year ago got the Wii. I spent too much time in PC MMO world... miss out on so many games.

Either way, I'm slowly when time from work and family allows, am making my way enjoying some classic titles. Thank you again for switft and friendly answers, its hard to find that much anymore. ;)

Metroid Prime 1 was a delight. 2 was kind of a depressing slog. Just a lot of brown and purple everywhere. Apparently it gets better at the end.

I believe you misread me. To clarify, only in Japan is the trilogy split into two "new play control" releases and the original prime 3. Everywhere else in the world did indeed get the bundled trilogy release instead. Japan: 3 games, 3 disks Everywhere else: 3 games, only avalible on the one disk.

I agree, but the others weren't quite as good. Except maybe the jungle party of Bryyo.

All three games are just great! I'm really tired of people who can't appreciate the Trilogy as it is, a whole, a complete story, not just separated games To TC, good luck, I really hope you can get Trilogy. I believe the GC games are even harder to get Best regards!

Trilogy only sold 600 000 globally before discontinued which is significantly less than all the others. Good luck finding that. You're better off buying the games by themselves for dirt cheap (easily accessible in any online store).

Ahem....it was only discontinued in YOUR region.

No matter,it's the best version of three great games,so it'd be a shame if he didn't get it.
