After looking at Nintendo Powers Revieww and seeing that LoZ and SPM got a 9.5, and on gamespot, a 8.8 or rounded, 9.0, i believe that gamespot will give metroid a 9.5. It seems that nitendo is .5 higher on hit games. Now we can form a basee to rate gamespot games that nintendo power has reviewed.
Same here. I don't care if a game gets a low score or a score lower than what people think is deserved. If I enjoy the game, I'll play it and be happy. If I don't enjoy it, it's a rental down the drain but it's nothing huge to complain about.
I noticed that too TC but I'd bet 9.6 9.7 because it is supposed to be better than one a revolution of it's own smooth control and a great all around game, however it's drawbacks are that it may be a tad quick and no online/multiplayer
I am guessing 8.5 for GS. They gave Bioshock a 9, and Gears a 9.6. GS likes giving good, long, storypacked games lower scores than short no story games.
I am saying an 8.5 rather than 9 because they are really biased.
If you want the real score, I usually take ign and GS and pick the score in between.
IGN said in one of their podcast that one of their rivals sites might score MP3 a 9.0 or lower. I'm pretty sure you guys can figure who they're talking about.
8.5 on Gamespot for me. 9.7 on IGN. IGN said its really good, and they keep talking about how great it is, more than twilight princess. They also said it'll recieve a fairly high score like bioshock did.
Sorry, buddy... but it isn't going to get a 9.5 here. Especially with Bioshock getting a 9.0, I just can't see it happening... it really should get a 9.0 though.
They've never given this kevin vanord guy any good games to review. He gets ONE chance and he TOTALLY BLOWS IT! I've lost all hope with gamespots reviews. I bought the game anyway, cant wait for it to ship!
