So, I beat Prime 3 on veteran difficulty and got access to hypermode difficulty. Fine. But when I started hypermode difficulty, everything I scanned in my previous game has already been scanned. I tried to go to a new file and start a hypermode difficulty game, but it only gives me the option of normal or veteran. How can I play a hypermode difficulty game and have to redo all the scans?

More of the credits I'm guessing.

Once you've scanned everything, it's pointless to do it again.

There's plenty of other ways to get credits.

yep, as soon as you scan everything in the game, u dont have to scan anymore, for any of the difficulties, to me, its a hell of a,ot easier

i played on normal, and my veterqan had all scans done

so i just scaneed all of ym missed scans, plus i dont think that scans have a part in your total percentage

I disagree. If you haven't played MP3 for a while, and want to start playing it again on a harder difficulty this time + read everything again to relive the story and stuff, you should be able to.

This is, in my opinion, a minus for MP3.

I don't like when developers makes something that hasn't been there in other games of the series, without letting you choose if you want it that way or not - especially if the option isn't hard to put in.

Well crap, I guess that solves my question. I wanted to do the really hard mode and have to scan again. That does kind of suck.

I guess I should go through veteran again and not scan anything.

Just re-scan all in you completed game, it will just take less time. You still can read all even if you scanned them -.-

I'll say to my friend not to buy it because you keep your scan.

Haha, I know, I'm waaay too picky about changes in a series that I really like. I just like when the female voice says "recorded to logbook" and the percentage goes up. It gives Litchie satisfaction. :P

I'll ignore the other thing you wrote, since you didn't see my point..
