I heard the single player is "bad/boring/repetitive". The main focus of the game is I think in the multiplayer (ala Halo 2 style). But I too want this game, so lets hear some comments from the people who have it!
well let me put it this way guys......i have a wii, 360, and ds.............for the last three months the most that i have play is most definatley hunters on the ds, its just a great addicitng shooter that is better than most if not all console fps, it has realy deep gameplay and genious multiplayer level design.................to the guy said the single player is bad.......its not, it is however repititve, hope that helps guys and if u get it please pm me with ur frined codes
It's the best portable FP game ever made, and an amaznig technical achieement on the DS.  It's one of only 2 DS games I own. Wish there were more like it.

It fun was fun for me for a while. I reserved and bought the game on day one and on day one, people were already experts. I've got my ass handed to me in 3 seconds every time I play. That's when It stops being fun. Then, the single player game is as frustrating for me as the original game. I'm constantly going, "Okay.......what the hell do I do now?" I havent touched that game in quite a while now.
Bought mine the day it came out, played it for a day or two and couldn't stand how the controls made my hands cramp up so I sold it. If you want a decent Metroid -type game on the DS, you should check out Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin or Scurge: Hive.

Or that. Fusion wasn't as good as I'd liked but Zero Mission rocks!
I picked this game up today guys and I really like it. Awesome graphics for the DS and the game play is amazing! I can't wait to give WI-FI a try and see whats up there. Thanks for everyones opinions.
I am a huge Metroid fan and Hunters is good, but it isn't a Metriod like I know. Is centers more around DIE!DIE!DIE! than the puzzle solving using exreamly powerful guns. It is a good game, but the 1 player is rather confusing. Once you get the hang of it, the storyline improves and the game is more fun. I liked the wifi because you can do it anywhere(almost), anytime. You don't have to find out someones friend code, tell them yours, add the other dude, make sure they added you, work out a time to get togther and then you meet. If you want to battle a friend, then yea, you gotta do that, but you don't have to just to play wifi. I would recomend the game to anyone who wants to get in the series. Of course being exremly fast with your hands does help.
I got it the week it released for $35 (CDN). It's pretty good, especially in the visual and control department, but I tend to get a headache when I play for more than an hour (only seems to happen with this game), not that I should be playing for more than that anyway.
