Metroid vs RE:4 Wii edition

i never really got into metroid so i wouls say re4deadmeat59

RE4=one of the greatest games ever (perfected on the wii), MP3=...isn't (still good)

In my opinion Metroid Prime 3 is the best game on the system. The best game all year and my second favorite game of all time. It's definitely a killer app for sure. It is your must buy.

However RE4 is my fourth favorite game of all time. And the 3rd best game on the system. With the best games on the system being Metroid, Zelda, RE4 and Galaxy you're primed to own the best. DO NOT discount RE4 in all of it's glory. Just get Metroid first :D

In agreement with the majority of posts here, RE4, mainly for value, butboth games are good.

not to mention RE4 is cheaper, but you might rather buy metroid while u have the money and get RE4 when you can

RE4 is an amazing game.

So is Meriod, but RE4 is just mind-blowing, and beats almost every game.

Yea, I'd opt for Resident Evil 4 Wii edition b/c, imo, it's one of the greatest games ever made. The wii controls make it amazing.

Metroid is a great game as well, but not in the same league.

I have only played MP1 and RE4:PS2 Edit.Anyway,Metroid is way more brain teasing than RE4 is.So,if you like that,go with Metroid.

I am more into RE4...because,seriously,it bleeping rocks!!

I have enjoyed MP3 a lot so far...one of my favorite games on the system. RE4 I beat when it came out on Gamecube, so I was not that impressed by it. I have owned both games, but traded RE in after I beat it because I didn't feel like unlocking everything all over again.

I would say Metroid because in my opinion it is a much more unique game, as Metroid games have always been. The environments in Metroid are amazing, top notch. RE4 is an extremely linear game, which I can't stand, and this is a big reason why I was not terribly interested in keeping it.

Metroid presents large areas for the player to explore, and I've always liked the exploration aspect of Metroid. I'm a little biased though, I have been playing Metroid games for years now and have enjoyed every one that I've played.

I've always thought Resident Evil games have beena little bit ridiculous...not to say RE4 is undeserving of its praise, but I will quickly admit I don't entirely understand its massive popularity...

but if you've only got bank for one... i would start with RE4... it'll be cheaper than Metroid. Also, after you beat it, I was pleasantly surprised at the playthrough-again options and also playing as different characters, etc. even though i say start with RE4... get Metroid as soon as you can... it's definitely one of the best games out for wii

Geez, that's a tough one. Both are awesome games, but I have to go with Metroid. That game just rocks, one of my favorites ever.

If don't own Metroid Prime 1 or 2, then the 3rd one really isn't worth getting. Resident Evil 4 would be my pick, but I have a thing against Mature rated games. If you don't have anything against them, go for RE4

same here metroid is a horrible game and re4 is the best gamr i have ever played id give it a 10 out of 10 hands down

how do u figure that metroid is a horrible game!! its ashooter just like re4 but its more sci-fi than re4. is that what u dont like about it, the whole "space odyssey" setting. i mean im a decent fan of the metroid series and im just stumped on how someone could not enjoy a game ofthis caliber...bascially i want you 2 enlighten me on your aversion :)
