Hello everyone don't get all that excited get. Did you all read the the interview of Kojima in Nintendo.com? That's not a game, it is just a tech demo of pices from Metal Gear Solid 3 nothing more.soulreaper-4
It is being remade for 3DS and those images were scenes from the game running on the game's 3DS engine
They just don't have a playable build yet, Nintendo asked them to go out of their way (as Kojima is a big name) and give them something to show off the 3DS
And you have to realise
in 3D the resolution are 400x240 sent to both eyes, but if you make it 2d it will be 800x240, so the game will maybe look better in motion/2d mode
Sorry but that doesn't show us how good the graphics are going to be. That show us what can developers do with in terms of graphics. The GameCube was the same and ended without doing graphics like the tech demos (remember the Zelda tech demo?). What about the tech demo of the PS2 showing the old man? This really shows us how good the graphics are going to be. Especially in 3D!!

This will be difficult to market. Even if the images are 3D to an impressive degree, cameras lack the ability to capture these images. Many (ignorant) people will say when seeing a commercial, "The game's in 3D?? So what, they've done 3D games since PS1! That's STUPID!!! You're STUPID Nintendo." I can only hope that a) the product finds a way to impact the target audience and more importantly, b) it deserves the attention and success it hopes to grasp.homegirl2180I do have to agree. People may confuse it for the 3D tech. that was spawned with the N64.
i think if the price is right 3DS will do quite fine, and sell alot i mean alot :)xfactor19990If your definition of right price is $150 dollars or less then you will be dissapointed. From the looks of it they 3DS will be priced for $200 or a bit more. People can't ask for new and better systems and at the same time a very low price. The funny think is that wile thay beging babling about the prices of consoles and portables may of them buy overpriced Ipods. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND I AM NOT REFERING TO YOU.

I wouldn't even blink at a $250 price tag on something like this, but for me RE is what is what sold it to me. It is interesting how we still don't exactly understand what the graphics capabilities are. I'd say it looks about like the original xbox(I'm not totally sure but I think that's better than Wii).
I would be willing to bet that the price will be 249.99 in the USA. they may surprise me and price it at 199.99 but i dont see that. they know they own the hand held market, they know people are going to buy it in large numbers so there not going to take a lose on the hardware. unless they do something crazy and price it like sony did the ps3 and the psp go. and thats no sony hate what so ever. check my profile. 99% of my current gen games are ps3 ;).
Any way that def looked cool even if it was a tech demo. i cant wait for the 3ds to be released. i hope they offer it in that blue color ;)
