Capcom dropped it from the PS3 and shifted to the Wii. That is awesome! Followed by fun, impressive looking RPG title taking down hordes of varieties of monsters. But then It then said you have to learn how to use the camera. So it practically told us on the spot this game will have a lot of camera issues and you'll have to manually fix it yourself. Next is when they mentioned pay to play. The pay to play sticker is on my Guitar Hero World Tour boxart, where you download songs for a price. Either gametrailers missed that particular title, or they're implying that online subscriptions require paying a certain amount per month like World of Warcraft. And if that's the case, Capcom will have already lost this customer. Overall, this is a mixed bag...a toss up for me.

Since MH usually charges in Japan but never charged in US, i dont see why they would change the trend. So i believe that if you are in japan, P2P is your issue. Not to sound mean,im half japanese but im not there and not playing on a japanese wii.

Monthly fee? This game keeps getting worse. You can't even demo it to see if it's going to be worth the $50 plus monthly fees. Bad camera control, constant load screens, clumsy and repetitive game play, monthly fees, and the game doesn't look nearly as good in motion as it did in the early screen shots. I used to think this game was going to be great, but I'm starting to think it's going to be a dissapointment.

Regardless of the flaws, Famitsu will give the game a high score and Monster Hunter fans will swarm over it like they did with the last game which was the best-selling game in Japan for 2008. I do not see the appeal of slaying monsters that mostly resemble dinosaurs, but the Japanese do.
