All you Wii owners out there (including me since launch) know that the Mii system is severely lacking. Don't get me wrong, it's fun and all... but only for a bit. I mean, it could be SO much better. Imagine being able to customize you're Mii's clothing, having expressions, more options and so on. I mean heck... Nintendo could even use them as avatars for a real online system for the Wii. I was wondering what you guys would like to see in an updated Mii system. GO ON! Keep this alive!
frankly i don't really care, i think they could do all kinds of things but in the end its games we want good games with great graphics, and deep gameplay. No matter how good the Mii channel was i would barely use it but this may just be me.
I was just talking about that the other day, I think nintendo is a little taken aback by how well the Wii is doing and they weren't prepared for it. I hope they do something like xbox Live.
As far as games go that incorporate Miis, clothing/expressions are all handled by the game designers, so actually allowing us to change features that games were hard-coded around doing for us already may create an incompatiblity here or there, or possibly "version 2" Miis that won't work on older titles that made use of them....

If they did make a V2.0 or something then I am sure they would make sure games that incorporate them now would only allow use of the older models. And the newer ones would simply be programmed to not even show up in the games mii selection menu or whatever they do for it.
I would wholeheartedly agree but the problem lies in how much space would an update take? We get a new Mii channel and it could dent the room that we have for vc games.
I agree with what another user said, first release a slew of great titles for the Wii both for the summer and next winter holidays (which should help sell even more systems). Then rework the Mii channel and others, to make them better as a whole.
Give it time. It was a pretty new concept and Nintendo couldnt guarantee the response to Mii's would be so great. Hopefully they designed it so they can update it and changes carry across all legacy games. I wouldnt want to wait an extra 3 months for the system waiting for advanced Wii options. The console race is too competitive for that
