My god Mistwalker... how about finishing some of the RPGs before piling on new ones... this makes it like... what? 5 games in development now? How big is their development team anyways?

I don't see a big deal because DS games are cheaper and faster to develop. The more DS love the better it is.

I think this is also a great way for Mistwalker and Sakaguchi to make some good money on the side while they work on the big guns. I think Blue Dragon's less than stellar sales, for example, can be made up with the DS version and its sales. Also, projects like ASH and that new one with the funky title can keep Mistwalker alive with finances.

So the DS games are like easy money. It just makes sense from a financial point of view, especially since the DS is still the hottest ticket in Japan.

Cool Info!!! Thanks.

I was aware of Blue Dragon being made but I didn't know about the other title...I assume we can again expect lots of Voice Acting for both of these DS titles ! -- Since this will be the case for the soon to be released "ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat "! ---Which is cool !

I am also great looking forward to "Archaic Sealed Heat (ASH)" of course...with a release date set for Japan a little later this year, and around February release for NA and hopefully EU too.

...but I guess, I don't need to tell you guys which one is most anticipated game (not just Mistwalker game) of all !!! XD

I don't know about the first game, but Blue Dragon......no thanks. It sucks on the 360, so I see no reason for it to be any better for the DS.

Why? Don't forget he is the creator of the legendary Final Fantasy series. If it weren't for him there would be no FF. Do you dislike FF too?

That has no bearing on his work today. Not to disrespect him, as he is a very important person in video games, but Final Fantasy today is better than it was when he was at the helm. XII = Best in series.

Oh, so I can't like a series he lost the reins to? Look, I never particularly liked his work, and just because he's the "Father of Final Fantasy" does not mean he's flawless. :|

Well, in your book perhaps, but definitely not in mine.

FF12 was lacking on so many aspects. First of all, it had a promising Story but the execution of it all was bad.

Characters development? Pretty much none existent. Along with a forgettable soundtrack etc...and the battle-system also had flaws and it wasn't as deep as I would have liked it to be. The ending was very well done, but everything was already too late then.

To me, the best thing about FF12 was the great English cast they assembled for it.

Bio_Spark

Did they do the original Yoshi's island? (I'm too lazy to check :P( I hate it when the babies cry! ))

excuse me for jumping in but, i know to each thier own and all that, but 12 was a damn good game but best in series? not even close. best graphics, sure. overall its on par with 8 at best. the sound track pretty good as well. the boss theme is the best in the series(not final boss, just reg bosses) the reg walk thru towns and such is a little weak. the story was getting pretty sweet, then, it takes a nose dive. no occuria battles? the ending sucked.like that person said, the character development is seriously lacking and the battle system was better than i thought it would be (its just a little slow for a system that lets you run around). too much micro-managing for fighting i thought. its dosent really flow.the english voice actors was the jewel of this game.

Ah, well personally I think that FFXII is one of the worst, I actually got too bored to finish it.
FFVII will always be my first, and greatest, FF.

What Mistwalker needs is someone who can create a decent story. And they should stay the hell away from Artoon.
