I'm sick of Wii games having "bad controls," at least in the reviewer's opinions. It seems like the only game that hasn't been faulted on its controls is Twilight Princess. I bought the Wii for the innovative controller, so if all these games are putting that controller to bad use, what good is the Wii anyways? Sure, Metroid, Mario, Smash Bros, and those first party titles will work very well, but when are third party developers going to figure it out?
/end rant.
Sorry, I'm just mad at the fact that we're in a Wii game drought, even though Reggie promised us otherwise. Oh, and I wanted Super Mario RPG to come out on VC today, lol.
exactly, twilight princess in november, warioware in january, and paper mario in april for first parties, don't forget about games like madden, trauma center and the next releases of prince of persia and cooking mama, add that to the fact that the VC has been outstanding lately.... no, there's no game drought technically, but everyone's just looking into new ideas that's all :DI'm sick of Wii games having "bad controls," at least in the reviewer's opinions. He's just expressing that the wii does in fact go online, so why not take advantage of it?it is said "Lasting Appeal
A handful of missions start off too easy. A decent multiplayer mode is good for a little while, but Wii goes online -- let's ditch the split-screen stuff and use the machine to the fullest"What is it mean but wii goes online?

actually that's pretty good and easily the best Wii shooter out yet, if you play it you will get more than a 7.0 rating, if anyone actually bothered to read the review he said that the only reason why he gave Wii version lower is because the hardware is much superior than the PS2. so yeah, ironically EA has yet ANOTHER Wii winner in it's belt, good job EA, now stop with the ports and give us something from ground up Wii :Dnintendo-4life
Â
Yeah theyt actually said it played better, looked better, and was presented better. The only reason they gave it a lowerr score is cause the Wii is capable of much more. They gave "Lasting Appeal" a 5?!?!! Because the Wii is cabable to go online....... Uhh, in case that reviewer didn't know NO Wii games are online!!! we are still rating and they gave it a 5 but no online games are out. That doesn't seem fair. This review is BS man.

yes, we all know it does. That doesn't mean it's the devs fault. They sjhouldn't lower ratings just cause Nin. isn't up and running with online.Â

[QUOTE="_KwispY"]http://wii.ign.com/articles/776/776038p1.html as expected i thoughtbukatoWierd how they praised the graphical step up from Call of Duty 3, but gave it the same score in the graphical department.

Yeah I think he was on something when he typed that.Â

I wasn't personally knocking nintendo for their lack of online so far, I could care less about online, I was just letting that guy know what the reviewer was talking about when he said "wii goes online".[QUOTE="Duckman5"][QUOTE="IronManRhino"][QUOTE="Link_188"]He's just expressing that the wii does in fact go online, so why not take advantage of it?it is said "Lasting Appeal

Yeah I know but that guy in the review expects online when no online games except Pokemnon are out? In Japan nontheless. What is he expecting? Online games to just start popping up tommorrow?Â

Yes?Â
I'm not talking about you. i'm talking about how the guy who reviewed MoH said that the Wii has online, as if there are many online games out for the Wii and MoH is behind the times, but there is 1 out in japan. It's totally unreasonable to say that in a review. Â

I thought it said COD 3 had better controls and some people have difficulty with those already (I don't by the way, took a damn long time though :P ).From that review, I think this game looks pretty sweet. I will probably buy this or at least rent it, depending on what's on the horizon for games.Â
But it does seem a little unfair to bash it for not being online.
Should nintendo have online capabilities by now? Uhhh..yes! XBL has only been around for like 3+ years.
Should it be held against the game itself? No, but online is half the fun of shooters anymore. So it does hurt the game.
I am excited to try this even though I won't be able to play my friends.Â
And split-screen seems like it would be extra lame with the wiimote.Â
huuuu......when will there be atleast an AA shooter for the Wii?
When there's online support for one. Â
Like many IGN reviews, the final score is a bit decieving. After reading the review I'm hyped for the game and can't waitt o rent it...as soon as my bro returns my Wii. :(
The only thing that really dropped the score were looser controls and the fact that it's a PS2 game. I think IGN is just tired of ports and is now docking points because of it.
