Capcom is known widely in Japan for one of it;s best selling game series, Monster Hunter. I personally first played it on the Playstation 2, and then the PSP version. Then Capcom decided to release the 3rd one on the PS3 but cancelled that issue to make one for the wii. After the 3 months of excitement, no news has come about MH3's where abouts.

I don't know why so many people like this game. It should have died with the ps2 releases. The combat is really clunky and the game mainly involves you doing the same missions over and over again.

Because its a pretty decent game with tons of replay value and provides a challenge.
There is a rumor that its supposed to come out in Japan this summer, but if I where to bet, my guess is that the next big announcement including an exact release date will be in E3 09.

If it was on the 360, you would not complain. But it's a Wii online game, you say that. That's it.
