No chance this time around but his comments show that the next game might be on all three.
They don't have an engine for it and don't have anything to build with. They would have to go from scratch so if they do it right you're talking maybe one year before it's released. Or they rush it to get it out sooner but then it's awful.
I think Wii owners missed the boat this time but it looks good for the future.
I don't understand why they went with characters from the DC universe. I mean, I really can't picture Batman pulling off a fatality. He's supposed to be a good guy, I think it's way too out of character for a hero to rip someone's spine out of their back, you know what I mean?
They're going to have to be really imaginative if they want to pull this off.
Mortal Kombat is still alive? I think I'll stick with my arcade Mortal Kombat games on Midway arcade treasures 2. Also, the concept looks very weird. I mean how Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kain,... will fight against Batman, Superman, the Green Lantern or the Flash, ... Midway could use Lex Luthor or the Joker in that game.
For me, Mortal Kombat jumped the shark a long time ago but now it's too much. It's like Soul Calibur IV with Darth Vader and Yoda. Soul Calibur jumped the shark because of this.
[QUOTE="EndlessPunisher"]I have to admit it would be kinda dumb for batman, or superman to have his own fatality......zenszulu
Or to be able to kill Superman so easily.
Unless, the fighter has kryptonite. Without it, any fatalities are useless against Superman.

Ed Boon also said Armegeddon did pretty well on Wii in terms of sales.
Personally, i have no interest in this game. Frankly, i think its the stupidest direction they could have taken the MK Franchise. Its basically a rip off of what marvel did with Capcom (Capcom VS Marvel) -- And honestly, MK games went down after MK3.
I own Armgeddon yes, Single player is boring, but i only bought it cause my family used to play MK games before, and we enjoy playing it sometimes.

I can't get why some people are so harsh on Mortal Kombat games the 3D games since Deadly Alliance have been far better than many and actually game the series more gamplay than the old 2D ones and was no worse than any other of the top 3D fighters released last gen, at least unlike other fightering game series it tried to take it in a different dirrection as to how it played and actually done it well.zenszulu

To answer that question you need to watch the interview with Ed Boon

Oh my God. Isn't that, like...the whole appeal of MK?
Christ, that's like taking jumping out of a Mario game.

Also, I really don't see why everyone is complaining. If you don't like MK or DC, will a game combining the two really pique your interest? This is being made because the oppurtunity is there. If it doesn't do well, so be it. Besides, we thought Sonic:Unleashed was going to skip the Wii until SeGa announced that it wouldn't. I don't see why everyone is so worried, if you want it on Wii then make this topic "Would you want to see MK VS DC on Wii?" don't just speculate.

Ok, you knew what I meant. No need for your sass.:P
There is really absolutely no chance of this game coming to the Wii- cause the Unreal 3 engine as a whole is way to taxing for the Wii to handle.
As for the game itself, I'm interested to see how it will turn out... Its too early to say much about its gameplay, but still- I must agree that its VERY stupid to remove what Mortal Kombat is best known for... (What is Mortal Kombat without its gory fatalities?)
this is ghey.
the game has no fatalities and is rated teen. if you know mortal kombat you know its made of blood and gore. now they're watering this down to make some stupid battle between dc comic book characters? what the hell is midway smoking?

Ya that sounds just about right. Besides that every developer expresses interest in including their games on Wii, but it doesnt mean its gonna happen. Hell even Valve devs said they wanted to do something on Wii.
Wii fans have to miss the boat alot of times whether a multiplat makes it on the system or not. If its on the system its usually not developed correctly.
The thing was Mortal Kombat for Wii is a pretty good port despite the fact that the actual game wasnt good for a MK game and there was no online the motion controls worked.
