For me, it would be New Super Mario Bros. The gameplay was too easy for a Mario game and the minigames were repeats from Super Mario 64 DS(except for about 3 games). This game wasREALLY overrated by all the critics.

I have to agree with you. New Super Mario Bros. was a good game, but as a long time 2D Mario game fan I was severely disappointed. The levels were way too short and it was way too easy. I remember spending hours beating everything and discovering all of the secrets in the old Mario games, and I finished New Super Mario Bros. in 2 hours. I did most of the extra stuff in a pretty short time as well. I hope if they make a second one they make it more like the old games, the lack of a flying power-up was also disappointing. I watched some video with Shigeru Myamoto saying how they wanted to make it more accessible to non-gamers though by making it easier and having shorter levels and that he was doing the same thing with Super Mario Galaxy. So I guess any hopes of a new challeging Mario game is looking slim.
MOst dissapointing game for me is totally MPH I mean, I know its great with multiplayer but really the single player was sooooo boring I mean I didnt even finish it.
So dissapointed witht hat game.
diddy kong racing was a bit of a let down - but that was probably my own fault for buying a game that I played to death on teh N64
Final Fantasy III was a pain for me... as well as Tao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon Seal.
Both were mediocre games to me. I expected a little bit more from FFIII.
The gameplay from Tao was certainly interesting, but didn't have much of a hook to keep me interested into the game right away. It needed a bit more personally.
I really liked NSMB, but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as the original SNES Super Mario.
Compared to the SNES version it's very short and easy. Also, the bosses were always memorable from the original whereas in this one I found them rather dull and uninspired and most of them could be over with in like 1 minute, if that.
I'm going to get Yoshi DS soon, and I'm hoping that it'll live up to the original SNES games a little more.
harvest moon for the ds. i was expecting the same harvest moon as the one for the gba but with wonderful life characters, but it felt so unfinished and broken and rushedfive301
Havest Moon was ok if you liked the gba one. For me themost disappointing game was Deep Labrinth it was realy bad.
Children of Mana was a bigg disppointment for me... i expected so much more out of that game :?flowerpedal

Loved the first two Sims games for handhelds (Bustin out for GBA and Urbz for the GBA and DS). I was so looking forward to the next one - Sims2 BUT what a stupid stupid game with NO redeeming virtues whatsoever. The storyline was boring the minigames were boring (picking up cow poop?), the characters were boring! Stupidly I even bought the DS version because it was supposed to be different. Yes it was...........different.......... but the storyline was " " " " ".
Nintendogs was another disappointment. If I wanted to have to work that hard for a pet, I'd get a REAL dog!
