Most overrated and underrated Wii game

For me it goes like this:

Overrated: No More Heroes (it's not a bad game, but it shouldn't have gotten Wii game of the year. That title belonged to Brawl.)

Underrated: Red Steel (not nearly as bad as people claim it to be.)

Please don't flame me guys, I know you must be boiling mad right now, but please try to restrain yourselves from making insults. Let's try to keep this thread peaceful.

Because the multiplayer is actually quite fun, and it's not the worst FPS ever. It's just not as good as others.

Overrate - wii sports - sure, its fun initially, but it quickly loses its luster when you purchase an actual wii game

Underrated - SSX Blur - a great snowboarding game that controls well and is plenty challenging

Overrated: No More Heroes

Underrated: Mario Kart Wii (Seriously, No More Heroes has an 82.99% averasge and Mario Kart has 81.92%)

Overrated: Brawl

Underrated: Geometry Wars

Overrated: NMH and Zack & Wiki

Underrated: de Blob & Okami

Overrated: NMH and SMG.

Underrated: Okami.

Overrated: Brawl, nothing special in it, just Melee with some add-ups, wasn't a big change or improvement.

Underrated: Metroid Prime 3, just an awesome game that deserved at least a 9; and Red Steel, wasn't a bad game at all.

Wow, I really loved No More Heroes, I'm kinda surprised at the number of people that didn't enjoy it. Or at least feel its overrated.

I can't say there's a stand out game on the Wii that I feel gets too much unwarrented attention. Possibly Mario Kart, but then again its never been one of my favorite series.

Underrated? Zack & Wiki definitely could have enjoyed more sales, but as far as these forums go, I'm gonna say you guys are too hard on NMH and MadWorld and only seem to focus on the negatives.

I can't believe that so many people think NMH is overrated. Have you actually played the game, or are you just speculating? NMH is a great game with tons of style and humor and truly one of the most unique games on the wii. I guess if you don't like originality and prefer more generic games then I can see why you wouldn't like it, buy NMH deserves praise and is not overrated at all.

Overrated: I have to games Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 had great controls but The Godfather had even better controls.

Twilight Princess just plain wasn't very good.

Underrated: The Godfather:Blackhand Edition

I fell in love with this game when it came out on xbox and the Wii controls made me love it even more.

Overated: Brawl

Underated: Fire Emblem, Trauma Center(both), Zack and Wiki, Battalion Wars...tons of stuff really.

Overrated: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Underrated: WarioWare: Smooth Moves

I love No More Heroes but i refuse to give a game a 9.0 because the protagonist is a otaku with a beam katana and that's cool. I don't want games to do 1 or 2 thing right and get away with it when everything else is just awful. People trash the game alot because they care that so much potential was wasted.Stephleref

First off your getting to caught up in a pointless numbers game, whether a games get a 1 or a 10 is not indictive of how good a game actually is. It represents what one person opinion is what is someones 5 maybe anothers 9.5. Take GTAIV it got 10's across the board but I got bored to death of it. Also the fact that people are saying that NMH is overrated just shows how underrated it is. The game has its issues, all games do. And no one has established it as one of the greatest games of all time or a generation defining game, people just say its a really entertaining game which it is, so how can that be considered overrated? Saying that its overrated is basically saying the game is bad or at best mediocre and that is massively underrating it.

People say NMH is overrated only cuz so many people on message boards love the game despite its few flaws. As far as the masses go NMH is surely underrated. Overrated is Wii Sports people love it but I just cant play that game much.

To answer your topic question, SSBB. both over and under rated.

Underrated: Twilight Princess. I found it to be a great game, despite the haters.

Overrated: Brawl and Twilight Princess. Brawl had huge potiential for an awesome online multiplayer but fell flat. Twilight Princess was just dull and felt like everyother Zelda games. Don't get me wrong though, Zelda games are fun if you're 12 and never played anything that wasn't made by Nintendo.

Underratted: I can't really think of one that's been given a ton of undeserved bad reviews.

No idea about underrated. Almost every Wii game is overrated...

Overrated: Battalion Wars 2, Metroid Prime 3 (Beautiful looking game, but I didn't like the story nor the combat, and the adventuring aspect made me want more)

Underrated: Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, The Godfather, & Rune Factory Frontier.
