most trusted 3rd party dev. on the wii

im pretty sure thq and ubisoft wont be listed. who is the best 3rd party developer/publisher on the wii?

my vote is EA. MADDEN, FIFA, MY SIMS, SSX BLUR, AND MEDAL OF HONOR HEROES 2 HAVE ALL BEEN GOOD. even playground was decent.

they have had their share of turds to like nba live, carbon (sensitive controls killed a great looking port), and MOH vanguard, but overall, i am happy with what they have done.

capcom with the resident evil games and zach and wiki gets thumbs up also.

sega and SNK gets kudos for their VC channels and sega is bringing some big names to the wii with sonic and nights.

strangely EA is one of them...
but sadly they go against what i like in their console games (they're amazing on PC tho... crysis is awesome)
at the moment the one I'm interested in is capcom, they're very good developers and no more heroes and monster hunter look petty good (not to mention the amazing RE4 they gave GC and now wii)
also of note is square enix, they look pretty promising

Capcom, Resident Evil 4 and Zack & Wiki were GREAT games & they're gonna release Okami, which might be even better.xarianuniverse

Beat Gear of War and Zelda to GOTY in a LOT of sites, so I would say so

Ubisoft for Rayman that's a viable new franchise built off the Wii

Atlus for the Trauma Center games

Atari for the Dragon Ball Z games

Konami for Elebits, DDR, and Power Pros

Capcom for RE4, RE UC, Zack and Wiki

Sega for Monkey Ball and Sonic

Even THQ for fun games like Spongebob and finally making family fun games that aren't awful

EA develops and publishes their own games. they own loads of development teams that make games under the EA name and then publish it themselves

for the best 3rd party developers, ea for making tons of quality games, and capcom for not making any crap (rare on the wii)

Capcom... if all that capcom did for the Wii would have been Zack and Wiki I would have been a little less sure but would still would have gone with capcom but since the put out RE4 for $29.99 it is for sure capcom. They have given us two of the best thridparty games at two great prices.ag1052

I have 9 wii games, (counting wii sports)

6 are by nintendo

2 by capcom

1 by EA

Now i'll buy MoHH2 and RE UC soon so it will 6,3,2

so best 3rd party so far is, IMO, Capcom, followed by EA and.... uh... red octane? (GH3)

Anyway with fragile and ToS2 comming on the wii Namco will get pretty good.

When I said Rayman I meant the Rayman Rabbids series that's already more popular then the main title it's spun off of.

Without Ubisoft's hard work and the Wii's control scheme I don't think the series would have taken off like it has.

Definitely Capcom. The RE4 port is AAA, and Zack & Wiki is 87% overall at Gamerankings.

Namco has Fragile (I think) and a new Tales of Symphonia coming, so they could be a major contender.

Capcom for RE series and Z&W

SEGA for Sonic, NiGHTS, monkey ball, Samb de Amigo, Ghost Squad, HotD (you've been asking for it and they are delivering it unto you!)

Ubisoft since they are the only 3rd party dev. whose games I own (PoP:RS, Splinter Cell). Rest are Nintnedo.

But I love most of Ubisoft games on the Wii. Splinter Cell is fun, Red Steel is fun for a while, Rival Swords is good (but already beat it on computer), Rayman is supposed to be good. Capcom would be my 2nd for Resident Evil 4 and they're bringing a new Okami :D .
