bunkabob go to ign.com they say its the best looking game on wiimariohalo12Explain how thats an achievement?
Oh. My. GOD!!!!! I must say that I really cannot wait much longer. And this video just makes it that much worse. I must say (and agree with whoever else said so) that the graphics look FAR better than the previous two. It without a doubt could be done with any last generation system. Trying to be impartial here too, I think that it absolutley looks like it could be running on the 360. Cry foul if you want but look at the environment, ridiculous frame rate the series is known for, the effects, lighting, animation and DETAIL on everything. It. Looks. Stellar. Launch day is the only day that matters.....Darth-SamusHave you ever seen a 360 game?

Oh lord lol. Yes of course I used to own one. I will admit that it looks like it could run on a 360 on a lower scale. I am NOT comparing it to Gears of War. But am I comparing it to Earth Defense Force? Or Condemned? Or DoA 4? Oh my without question. Especially in those High-res videos. Either way the bottom line is: simply gorgeous. Just revel in it.
I thought the online features would be better....
I thought every so often we would get downloadable missions:(
oh well........I already pre-ordered it....hope it gets higher than Bioshock on GS....haha

Far better? The art direction is better, granted, but technically it's not really that much different than MP2. Better lighting effects and such, but not that different otherwise.

The graphics look good, but Spelunker is right. Not THAT good.

I'm not saying that they don't look great- they do. But if you're looking for a drastic visual improvement (other than stylistically speaking) from MP2, then you're going to be disappointed.

Nice video and all. But you sir have no clue what you are talking about...online, barely, like i dont know if I would even count it really as being online because all of that crap that you are doing online could be done totally offline, and prolly done better offline... ;|ice_radonI know, thats why I said "kinda"

It loaded it was sweet!!!! no sound though. and I didnt see anything about achievements but this game dosent need them any way. Thanks for the video.
The main reason this version will be better then the GC ones is because it's being made on a DVD not a GC disk, it has very little size in making epic games. When developers are forced to use smaller disks they are forced to add a lot of back tracking in their games and delete a lot of good ideas they may have but are forced to take them out because of the space. Just the whole part of Samus going back to that ship and talking to the people on it and the captain was an idea but it would be not done on the GC unless the developer wanted to make the game much smaller but now he doesn't have to worry about that.
To anyone wondering what the "Achievement" type aspect of the game is, when you do certain actions in the game, you get tokens. They come in different colors, depending on what the event was and what action you took. You can show the tokens to people in your friends list that also have the game, and you get a special token for that. The tokens can unlock extras and bonuses in the game.
So it's like the Xbox 360 Achievement system, except it actually does something in the game. I'd be cool if they started doing that in other Wii games. Maybe they will if MP3 turns out to be a big hit.
if they did that in brawl it'd have near limitless unlockables! To anyone wondering what the "Achievement" type aspect of the game is, when you do certain actions in the game, you get tokens. And I don't see that as a bad thing, as long as they stretched the time it takes to collect tokens out. I wouldn't want to encounter the "Hey, you unlocked this!" screen every two minutes.
