i got a wii about a month ago and havn't bought any games for it because i don't like any of the games that are out right now except zelda but i have already passed it on GC. now i really want to get MP3 as my first game but my problem is i have never played 2 i have only owned part 1 and have passed it now do i really need to play 2 to get the story of 3 or can i just play 3???
The IGN guys said that after watching the Intro for MP3 its great with or without knowledge of the past MPsag1052
thanks thats a big relief cuz i reserved it today and i was having doubts afterwords cuz i had never played part 2. for some reason its $10 to reserve it instead of the regular 5 i think its in high demand not sure
yeah i found taht out when i played super metriod when i was kid she died and wen that happens her armor explodes off and she is half naked i felt funny afterwords lol:lol:
Just as long as you know metroid prime absorbed the phazon armor in MP1 and became a "samus like" creature after words then you don't need to play it.......so really there will be no weird story gaps for you

yeah i remember that from part one it took over her suit and it looked pretty kool then at the end u have to fight it and it survives.
P.S thanks for the replys i feel a lot more confident about getting MP3 now i can;t wait to play it. the only problem i had with MP is that u can only control samus with only one stick which sucked the wii-mote gets ride of that thankfully
